“They sent the wong product and then refused to accept the return as I had opened the packaging”

Under our returns policy, unused and unopened items can be returned for a refund. However, once an ink cartridge has been opened, we are unable to accept it back as a return because it can no longer be resold. As the cartridge was opened, it falls outside the terms of our refund policy. I can see that you are currently in contact with our Customer Service team regarding this matter. They will continue to assist you with the return and refund of the unopened items and answer any further questions you may have. While we appreciate your disappointment, we are unable to offer a refund for the opened cartridge for the reasons outlined above. Kind regards, Team Cartridge People

“I cannot fault Cartridge People's customer service. They have been so helpful with what turned into a bit of a nightmare first order experience. Emails and phone calls, they have been brilliant and I feel very sorry they were let down by their couriers and out of pocket on product. NOT the company's fault AT ALL but the package arrived through Evri, ripped with Epson cartridges missing. DPD never delivered the replacement at all and customer services had sent out the missing items for next day delivery. Third time lucky, I now have all of my order 20 days after I placed it. Luckily I wasn't desperate for the inks. I can't fault the customer service and will use this company again, just an unfortunate initial experience. Chris, Liam, and Lindsay are what customer service is all about and well done Cartridge People for being so easily contactable, a rare treat these days. Thank you”

“I had a query with an order because I thought I had been sent incorrect toner cartridges, Hannah came back to me really quickly and after sending a photo of what I had been sent, was able to confirm to me that they were compatible. She was courteous, efficient and patient when I couldn't get the photo uploaded properly. My query was dealt with very well by Hannah I commend her on her patience.”

“I purchased cartridges for my printer using the pinter model number keyed into Google and was directed to their website. Shortly after placing the order I received a call upselling so I changed my order to their non branded cartridges. When the cartridges arrived I opened one and it was evident it wasn't correct. The original cartridge in the order I placed looked identical to the cartidges in the picture on their website but not the ones I was persuaded to buy. I was told if I went directly to their website this would have been an issue and it was my fault that I went through Google and not directly to them. The cartridge I opened cost me £70 and I'm still waiting to be credited for the other cartridges. Never going to use them again.”

Thank you for your detailed review. Our records indicate that the products were located through a Google search and, unfortunately, the incorrect product was selected. While we appreciate that mistakes can happen, it remains the customer's responsibility to verify compatibility before purchasing. The product page clearly states the printer models with which the cartridge is compatible. Once an order is placed, our team contacts customers to advise on any available offers. We process the order based on the product originally selected and, where applicable, only substitute an original manufacturer cartridge with our own-brand equivalent, any changes are made only with the customer's full knowledge, acceptance, and agreement. In this case, the item supplied matched the product ordered, and the compatibility information was clearly displayed on the product listing at the time of purchase. Under our returns policy, unused and unopened items can be returned for a refund. However, once an ink cartridge has been opened, we are unable to accept it back to resell it to another customer. For this reason, the opened cartridge falls outside our refund policy. We will, of course, honour a refund for the unopened items once they are returned to us. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a refund for the opened cartridge, as it is not eligible for resale under our returns terms and conditions. Kind regards, Team Cartridge People
