“I have still not received my package yet even though I got a confirmation email stating it had been despatched and it had been posted! I have rang serveral times to chase it with no luck as no one answers !”

“Bought some car shades based on what was shown would be compatible via the car details entered but once they arrived they did not fit. Response from customer service was very short and did not address our complaint about wrong suggestion being given. Now have no choice but to send back ourselves and pay return postage.”

“I’ve just purchased the shades for my BMW X1, the actual shades seem good quality and are adequately sized, however the fittings are inadequate, after struggling to fit the clips on they do not fit properly and just fall out when I’m driving, they are simply not fit for purpose. I’m very disappointed as they cost a lot, I have emailed the company to return them and not heard back as yet. Also I followed the video and it doesn’t match the interior of my car although I did specify make/model and year of my vehicle.”

“The shades arrived quickly and the quality of the blind is good. Unfortunately the little metal clips used for installation are very poor, with the design of the blinds meaning they sit against the window glass. This means the window cannot be opened with them in place to avoid scratches. After seeing this set, two family members have decided not to buy them and I wont be purchasing another set until they rectify this”

“I cant fault the shades. however, the listing stated this would fit my audi a5 variant and age but has frameless windows. I have sent numerous emails to them to find out how to return for a refund and have still had no response with the 14 return window closing....”

“Ordered a full set for my BMW X3. Delivery super quick and majority of the shades fit perfectly but the 2 main shades for the rear windows are not a perfect fit with gaps all around which is disappointing given the cost and the expectation that these are made to fit the vehicle. They also don’t feel secure so wouldn’t want to drive with the rear windows down which was a feature of why I opted for these fitted shades vs ones that stick on the windows. I have emailed to clarify if there was an issue with the product but not received a reply (even though the website states 1 working day response) and tried to call but no answer. A bit disappointed with the product even though the ones that do fit perfectly are great.”

“Would’ve been a fantastic product had it fitted my Fiat Panda Trussardi. Sent it back not a free return! Awaiting to hear if they have received the items in good faith and when a refund will be due by. Returns policy needs some work in your terms and conditions. If someone could let me know the information I’ve politely asked for, that’s be great. Thank you.”

“The shades came with impressive speed given the international shipping, and look great, but the clips to install them were the wrong assortment (the small plastic bag was cut open, and missing several necessary clips, also some didn't correspond to the clips specified), and the diagrams didn't provide enough detail on some installation quirks with my particular car -- though the photos in the instructions ARE of my specific model car, which is excellent. I will revise the review upwards when I am able to install the shades. Please respond to me - I I had no response yesterday and today to the note I sent on Tuesday.”

“The shades are perfect & would of gave 5* the problem is contacting them I was on the phone for nearly two hours I've sent emails about returning some shades that I ordered my mistake not there's but not got email back advise how to return”

“Had my shades a year now (Polestar 2). Clips don't hold on very well, and one has come off and is lost. Emailed customer service a week ago to try and purchase replacements but not even got a response. Great idea but needs better clips, and better customer service.”

“I’ve have purchased other versions of blind before from this company and they have been great, the x3 blinds I purchased the stick on mounts fell off within a week of putting them on, I used the wipes as per the instructions but guess didn’t help, the blind itself is great but mounting is poor”

The clips you have in the picture fit to the frame of the door rather than to the Car Shades. “Bought for BMW X3 2022 model, the main window shade is not safe, as it doesn’t have proper clips to stick to the door, in case by accident someone pull down the window, the shade will blow out of the car as nothing is holding it. May cause some serious accidents on motorways, if by any chance your kid pulls down the window.”

Hi Aditya We are sorry you are not happy with your Car Shades. We can see that looking at the image you have provided the clips on the top edge appears to be quite close together, however, they should be more in the top corners in a similar position to where you have your bottom clips which may help. If you would also like us to send you some additional clips we would be happy to do so and you can email us at sales@carshades.co.uk. With regards travelling on the motorway, we would advise not to wind your window down fully when travelling at high speed. We hope that helps. Thank you Car Shades
