“Bought these for a Volvo xc60 and they work well, however the fit isn't quite right on the rear door windows if you follow the instructions that come with them. Moving the clips to a different place helps a bit however I'm still not sure if they will scratch the glass if I open the windows. They're good, just not quite as 'fitted' as the adverts make out.”

“Products feel high quality. Images in the instructions could have been better quality however it was still simple to fit the clips and then the shades. Very happy that I can now have the rear windows shaded and still roll down the windows. The only issue I have is that the 2 pieces on the rear windscreen overlap slightly at the bottom but seem to fit perfectly on the top (2012 Skoda Superb hatchback).”

“Car blinds arrived well packaged and on time - excellent service. The blinds fit very well and are perfectly matched to the car (Audi A3 saloon). My only suggestion is that it would be useful to have the blinds available to buy separately as currently only available as a full set or for the two rear door windows. I would possibly consider putting a blind in the rear window at some point in the future but this is not an option.”

“Arrived quickly. Packaged nicely. Instructions could have been a little clearer as hard to tell the different clips apart, but the blinds fitted well. A little trial and error on the positioning of the clips to make sure they sit clear from the window to allow it to go up and down. I'd expected the blind to block more light, but it still looks like it will shield the kids from the sun. Overall, seems pretty good. Price competes well versus film that will be awkward to remove.”

“The car shades are good, the door window shades and the rear window shades fit really well, my one criticism would be the rear quarter windows, the shades seem a little too big for the opening and were a bit awkward and the clips are stressed as a result, it would be worth revisiting the templates you have for these.”

“They work brilliantly, and are great quality for the price. I knocked a star off because they're a pain in the a**e to fit. The written instructions were worse than useless, and there is nothing intuitive about how the clips work. You MUST watch the videos to be in with a fighting chance of getting these things in your car. Skip the videos and you'll be there for days and still won't get the job done.”

“The shades fit perfect. The clips that hold the shades in place are a bit fiddly. The instructions don’t show the way the clips are, but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy.”

“The shade effectiveness is really good. The ability to open the windows whilst the shade is in, is also great. The fitting itself is a little fiddly, it took me a while to get the clips on the shade and although it's fitted and pretty snug, I'm still not 100% I've done it correctly.”

“I've bought car shades from carshades.co.uk a few times before, and they are of a good quality and "do what they say on the tin". Very good for our dogs when we travel with them in the car; keeps the sun off them to a minimum and keeps the car cooler, plus also less prying eyes looking into the car but we can still see out fairly easily. My only grip is that the rear window shade comes in two halves, and thus there is a thick-ish band down the middle, although you do get used to it. All in all, a good product.”

“Pros: They are tailored to the car, fit really well with no gaps and look very neat. You can open the car windows for ventilation. They are secure when in place but it's quick and easy to pop them in and out of the clips as needed. Cons: They are expensive and the fitting instructions aren't clear enough, I had to mess around with the clips quite alot before getting them right. Verdict: Having tried various cheap shades before (even some from a reputable store, which broke when I tried to fit them) these are the best I've seen, and worth it if you can afford them. Just be prepared to fiddle with the clips a bit to get them just right.”

“Good product but extremely difficult to install. This was not helped by the poor instructions with blurry images. The clips need attaching to the shades before you can install the shades to the car and this was very hard. I ended up needing to use pliers to squeeze them together which I wasn’t keen to do incase I ripped the mesh. Once I got the clips on, attaching them to the windows was fine although they feel a little wobbly on the back doors. I am happy with the look of them once installed and they are a good alternative to tinting.”

“Very happy with the car shades. The clips are a bit weak, but the company has excellent customer care, so cannot complain. A must for any dog owner who wants to make their pets journey more comfortable.”

“Very nicely made product and once I finally worked out how to fit them they fit very well. 2 issues with the product: 1) There are no instructions on how to fit them provided in the box. 2) I don't feel like there's enough clips supplied in the packaging (3 per side window, 2 per back window + the panel joint clip). Hopefully they withstand a 2 year old's grip if she decides to try and pull on the material! A quick search online revealed a fairly easy to follow video - but a simple one pager with diagram would have made life easier!”
