“For my Ateca very well, little one is very comfortable and content now in the back. No longer having to battle to keep kids cool and happy without the sun in their face is great. Only negative I can give is was a bit fiddly to fit the clips that need to go into the window frames and the instruction video wasn’t vehicle specific which I understand isn’t possible for every car there is, but the fitting was different for ours so we had to struggle through ourself. The pictures provided with the instructions the same, different for how the clips fitted into the seals in our car, and even if they weren’t, the pictures were difficult to make out and not very clear. But the shades themselves once in are great.”

“The shade fits rather perfectly for my window. However the lower clip could not fixate the shade at all; the shade holds in place because of the frame. It would be much nicer if the each shade is provided with two sets of clips instead of one and the lower clip should be wider and longer.”

“Shades are a near perfect fit. Very well made. Unfortunately they arrived with the insufficient type and number of clips so have had to make do with wedging the top of the shades. I have repeatedly called customer service but nobody ever answers. Instructions are very poor as just pictures and the online videos explain you to do it a different way. Disappointing service for a product that is fairly pricey”

“Very good quality and does the job. Had a few issues with the passenger windows with regards fitting but overcame that by adding a couple of clips from the other shades. If i had one negative its the rear window come in two pieces so you have a thick black line down the middle which is a little annoying when you look in your mirror. Would be better as one piece if thats possible.”

Hi Chris - thank you for the feedback, the tailgate shade is manufactured in 2 pieces for a couple of reasons; 1) so that it can follow the shape of your window better as many tailgate windows have a slight curve on them which is difficult to follow with a single shade. 2) It makes them easier to remove and store in your boot when not in use. “Great product. Only issue was one of the clips snapped as I took it out. The company replied by email on the same day. The one I was able to fit looks great with the convenience of having the ability to put the window down. A few extra clips would give peace of mind that the shade is more secure and may be more cost effective to the company? Just to add Car Shades - I've turned my 5 year old back to rear facing (25kg seat) now and would love to be able to purchase the rear only shades separately if this would be an option on your website that would be great 🙂”

“The shades fit most of the smaller windows perfectly, but the main rear windows have a few small gaps. That’s being really fussy. Good product over all.”

“Loved them once fitted but found the clips very fiddly to attach to frame as they were so tight. But once done great! Previous over door shades have caused leaks and other suction ones are always too small for windows.”

“I purchased the full rear set for my MG HS and they look great. The shades are very well constructed and look like they will last well. First impressions are that they do an excellent job in reducing heat and glare for my rear seat passengers and dog. Fitting, however, was a bit of a struggle with the side windows and tailgate, and was nothing like as simple as the video instructions made it look. In the video, the shades just seem to slot nicely into place but, in reality, mine seemed just slightly too large which made it very difficult to locate exactly where they should be sitting. One of the side windows was particularly awkward and kept either fouling the window, pushing up the top rubber seal, or not sitting correctly and sagging under pressure. Eventually, I got it looking ok but only after managing to scratch the paint on my brand new car with a clip, and I’m still not fully convinced that I’ve got it right. I dread having to take them out and put them back in again! As a final grumble, although it is not in the vendor’s control, the performance of their courier was poor and my expensive purchase was left sitting outside my house in the pouring rain when it was supposed to be a signed-for delivery.”

“They were easy to fit except the two windows on the sliding doors where the clips wouldn’t fit under the rubbers so I used some sticky back Velcro now they are a perfect fit”

“Ordered a set of shades for our X3. Very nice product and service. These were the best solution for a few reasons: They fit inside the car so they don't get ruined by the weather. They fill the whole window area. And you can still open the windows as normal. Only issue I've had is the sticky clips don't last forever, but they are easily replaced. Very happy to have bought these instead of slightly cheaper option.”

“A great shade but let down by a very poor installation guide and a clip position recommendation that doesn’t hold the shade securely and risks scratching the glass. I have contacted the company with the offer to give better pictures and clip placement.”

“Hello. The car shades I bought for the BMW X1 were very well made and looked really good. It keeps the car cool and the kids love it. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 was because the clips were not labelled or separately packed for easy identification as some of them looked very similar. The clips could also do with more rubber coating to prevent scratching the car’s upholstery. Cheers”
