“A good product, reasonable fit into the windows. The instructions are not particularly clear and the clips not quite the right size. The long edge of the metal clips could be 5mm longer to really tuck under the rubber. However, overall, I’m pleased.”

“Shades are great - do exactly what they’re supposed to. My only gripe is the instruction sheet isn’t any use. Had to use YouTube to work out how the clips attached. Once that was done though, fitting the shades was a matter of seconds.”

“I was told about carshades after buying a car with no blacked out windows in the rear, went onto the car shades site found the one's for my car, ordered them, waited for them to arrive about 3 days, fitted them in about 10 minutes , really pleased and satisfied with them.”

“I'm a dog trainer and transport dogs regularly, in the summer I was finding it really stressful as even with the air conditioning I worried about the dogs overheating. These were really easy to fit and the back of the car is definitely cooler, especially after its been parked for a while”

“Pleased with the product and delivery was very fast. Only two things. They don't work with a rear reversing camera, maybe wouldst work with a rear dashcam either, and they don't answer the phone when i tried to contact them?”

Hi Michelle - thanks for your feedback. When we manufacture tailgate Car shades they are usually on windows that do not include a rear dashcam therefore unfortunately any dashcams in a vehicle would cause a slight issue. “I love the fact it fits perfectly. Luckily there was an extra clip as one broke in the process of fitting on but end results are 100%. The quality of the product is also 100% not like the rubbish ones you find on amazon/ebay. Perfect for children.”

“Great quality car shades, fairly easy to fit, although I was unable to use clips for the bottom of the rear door shade, as on the MG ZS the window rubber is lower down within the door frame, The shade still feels secure without the clips.”

“Good robust shades that have no gaps around the edges to let light through. The clips were tight though, I had to use pliers to avoid injuring my thumbs but at least they won't come off. Nice to know that I can close the doors without the shades falling off, particularly the rear screen (I have a large hatchback).”

“I ordered two sets of these for different cars and they are both a perfect fit and very well made with good quality materials. Instructions could be a bit clearer and some of the clips stick on, so I’m not sure how long they’ll stay in place. Ordered on Wednesday, delivered Friday. Very pleased.”

“Hi, I sent you an e-mail last Thursday no reply ,why are goods I purchased in Germany.I purchased on 29th May, You sent me a link for tracking my order, German customs are looking for 19% + 10 euro handling charge + 5 euro a day while in German customs since Monday last wk,can you please sort this out for me or I want a full refund ,regards John”

Hi John We are sorry you haven't yet received your Car Shades. We have tracked your order and because this is an order to the Republic of Ireland the tracking states that the goods are on hold awaiting customs clearance and it has been with them since Monday the 7th June. Therefore, you should have been contacted by email as there will be a clearance charge to pay before it can be released from the courier.
