“They do not split the sets so in case you want another part B and/or C for the rear window you don’t have this possibility, or if a part it’s broken or something else you still need to buy the whole set, AGAIN. And it’s not cheap. Nice job, Carshades.”

Hi Madalin - because of how we manufacture Car Shades i.e. in either Full Sets for all rear windows or Passenger Door Sets only, we don't have the other options available to buy just the load area or tailgate Car Shades on their own. This is something we are reviewing but at the moment we don't have a timeframe as to when this might change. Sorry we couldn't be of more assistance on this occasion. Thank you Car Shades

“Bought the full set for my Skoda Roomster. Straight forward to install and they cover the windows very well. The clips that attach to the frame of the car shade can be a bit hard to fit, but it does mean they don’t fall off at all. The frames are not flimsy wires but sturdy. The set came with two clips missing so I tried ringing them but couldn’t get through. Instead I emailed customer services on Saturday and got a reply first thing Monday. They sent me 4 clips. Would recommend.”

“So apparently you can still use your windows.... however they don't hold their position despite the 20 minutes it took to fit them... Rendered useless in the first two weeks...”

“The website is easy to navigate and the purchase process is quick and simple. Items were despatched promptly and arrived quickly. The shades appear to be well made and for a classic Beetle the brackets simply stick to the windows. The side windows are a little small for a Late Mexican Beetle but don't allow too much sunlight in around the edges. Overall they work well, you can see through them which is good for visibility and I would recommend.”

“We bought shades for a 2021 Kia Sportage, and they simply are the wrong size and shape. Nobody answered the phone, and so far after 2 days nobody has responded to my emails”

Update 2 - Hi Richard We suspect that you may have the previous generation of the Kia Sportage and your order was for the newest generation as 2021 was a crossover year for the car. Could you therefore confirm what model of Kia Sportage you have. Thank you Car Shades

“Have previously used car shades for other vehicles and returned again due to quality of product. Once again product is of great quality and fits as should. Only problem was packaging is quite flimsy and both sets of shades that arrived were bent. Not wanting to go through the hassle of returning I straightened them out to as straight as possible by eye and fitted to vehicles.”

“They are great and protect my wee one from the sun but the fitting could be better for the price I paidfor my VW Polo. The rear ones don't fit well and the small windows don't either but the back passenger ones fit fine. I would contact them but heard their customer service isn't great and really they won't be able to fix it since it is a manufacturing fitting failure. Other than that, they do the job they are set out for but wish the fitting was more accurate for the price paid.”

“Car Shades arrived late but down to courier. Once fitted by easy to follow instructions which took about 15 minutes, I'm very pleased with them and look so much better than the sleeve shades that cover windows in side and out, which also become faded over time. I purchased a full set.”

“Have not fitted them into my car yet but they look good quality. I have had these shades before for my last few cars & they have lasted years . Easily removed & fitted again. They keep the boot area cooler for our 3 dogs. Certainly recommend them. Easy to order too.”

“i bought shades for the side rear of my corsa they are just great as u can have a window open and they don't move. only problem was a couple of the clips that hold them in broke I emailed on a sunday and got a reply very quickly Monday am so thank you would certainly order from carshades again.”

“Being almost new parents and expecting a June/July baby, a cool car and shade is a must. Discovered carshades.co.uk after seeing a “rival” on instagram and forgetting their name so googled car shades. So glad I did. These shades were cheaper but also excellent quality. The fit is incredible and looks so good as opposed to other over the door “sock shades”. Recommend them to my mum who’s going to get a full set herself when’s the babysitting starts!!”
