“I don’t think the two piece rear window idea works. In both cars, I have removed the rear blinds because the centre bars obscure the view or else one pops out when opening the tailgate”

Hi Paul - we are sorry to learn that you aren't entirely happy with your tailgate Car Shades. We manufacture the tailgate shades in two pieces so that they can follow the curve of the window to allow a perfect fit, but also make them easier to remove and store when not in use. “Quality great as always. The only thing I dislike is the fact you can only get the shades for the boot window are only available as part of the most expensive pack. I have bought 2 sets now and only used the boot window shades as we have reactive dogs, the boot window shades should be available separately just like the rear window ones are. Poor thought process tbh!!! miling certain customers for more money when they dont need part of a set.”

“Easy to install, good quality shades, look fantastic. However could not give a VERY GOOD score due to the choice option, I did not want/need the rear window shade, so would have expected the rear door and small windows next to these doors to be available, the whole of the side windows would have matched so much better! Unfortunately the response was, apologies we do not list these individual.”

“Reference: 600472. We were very excited to receive our car shades today but they do not fit our Mazda CX-5 D 2017 model. They must be for a later model but it would have been nice if your website could have given us the option of the year of manufacture to choose from. What a shame - we are very disappointed.”

“Having read one or two slightly negative reveiws I was a little apprehensive of purchasing but was more than pleased by the quick response I received to my initial email, the delivery of extra clips with my shades (as requesied in the email), the quality of the shades, the ease of fitting the side ones and their quick removal, and the very handy storage bag. My only regret was that the rear screen is not one single piece but two matching sections which, consequently, join in the centre and create a visible line in the rear-view mirror. Although I appreciate that this makes them much easier to store in the boot I nevertheless decided to return the shades and received a very prompt refund without any problems.”

“Almost perfect. It's nice to find a set for my car (Mercedes R Class), however on the rea window the joint overlaps in the middle, I don't know if it is supposed to by like that, on the side windpws the shade don't follow the curve of the doors and the fit is quite tight. The instructions are basic - very basic! Just like the videos that the QR code links to. The actual fitting clips are visible from outside, perhaps it's me not installing correctly, but that's probably because the instruction only provide skeletal information.”
