“Hi, Sorry only getting round to sending this in now, as I purchased the Car Shades - BMW X5 2014-17 - Full Rear Set back in February, but only got round to fitting them last month. The blinds themselves are very good quality and fit the windows perfectly. My only difficulty with the blinds, is the clips supplied, as they do not keep the rear door blinds in place. If a person gets in or out of the car and shuts the door, the blind drops out, so you have to keep fitting them back in. I did purchase a spare set of clips, but they did not work. Good blind, but pity about the clips.”

Hi Jimmy - we are sorry that the clips are struggling to stay in place on your model. We are going to send you some complimentary clips that are called M03, they are the same profile as the M13 clips you have in your set but have a slightly longer back plate to hopefully grab into the door seal a little better. “Nice shades. Fit well/snap right in. Pictures in instructions show where to put clips. I just needed needle nose pliers to put the clips on properly.”

“I haven’t fitted them yet so can’t give a full rating. The photo instructions aren’t very clear. You can’t see which way to attach the clips. I’m sure they will be fine once they are in, it’s just not clear how to do it!”

“Ordered these for a Golf Mk7 and they fit perfectly. I already have a slight tint on the windows but these have increased the shade dramatically and also are great for winding the window down to let some fresh air in. Arrived the next day too, so a great service!”

“I am a second time customer and wouldn't be without these so having bought another vehicle bought again. Keeps the car cooler. Keeps things in the back out of sight. Means I can drive with the rear passenger windows open instead of the air conditioning always running. For those interested they are a perfect fit in my 2012 Skoda Superb estate and this 2006 Honda CRV.”

“I have ordered shades for my previous two and current vehicle. The first two were a better fit. However the current set for my MG HS are not as good but okay. My reason for my low score is based on the fact I'm currently still waiting for the purchase you are asking me to review! when I tried to ring through during tho whole of my work break I got no answer even tho I was first in the queue. I had to use the answer phone message option but have received no call back.”

“Fit is excellent, but a little awkward to attach the rear-window ones. Clips used kept popping out of the trim for that part of the shade - but stable now I've got them set properly. Sightly firmer/longer clips may make installation easier. Way better than the alternatives.”

“After having a set of these blinds in my Saab 95 I wanted them in my Toyota Avensis estate. Ordering was very easy and they arrived 2 days later well packaged and in a nice storage bag made of nylon for long term use if required. The fit was excellent these are a well made quality blind, they also afford good privacy from prying eyes into the car, but visibility from inside the car out is virtually unaffected. The windows operate normally without rubbing the blind. Small clips are used to hold them in place and it is very easy to pop the blind out if for example you need to clean the windows. I have no hesitation in recommending these blinds, Carshades have been fast and professional company to deal with giving good communication via email.”

The only negative aspect, and it has nothing to do with the Car Shades, is related to the customs bureaucracy resulting from the United Kingdom no longer belonging to the EU!”

“Bought shades for Octavia estate 2019> and the shades look good except the clip for the passenger windows don’t fit correctly due to depth of rubber seal. *** Have emailed their customer services twice, called them a number of times and been on hold as the ‘next in line’ for over half an hour 4 times, left messages when I gave up waiting, messages on Instagram… and NOTHING! No replies! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT. For this reason alone I wouldn’t reccomend or buy again. Then they have the cheek to send an email asking for a review. It says they read all the reviews… let’s see if they read this and decide to answer me. Not holding my breath”

“Delivery was very quick. Shades were very simple to install. They look great. Of course, being British summertime, the sun disappeared after I installed the shades, so haven't yet seen how they work when it's sunny!”
