“These shades are far better than the pull over the door or stick to the window type. Easy to fit, would say done in 5 mins of checking the instructions. Fast delivery and coke with a protective bag for when you want to take them out. Wish I had got these shades sooner!”

“I had Car Shades in my last car so it was a no-brainier purchase for a new set when I brought a new car. Well made, relatively easy to fit and give full window coverage - great when the kids are sat in the back on sunny days.”

“Bought for BMW X3 2022 model, the main window shade is not safe, as it doesn’t have proper clips to stick to the door, in case by accident someone pull down the window, the shade will blow out of the car as nothing is holding it. May cause some serious accidents on motorways, if by any chance your kid pulls down the window.”

Hi Aditya We are sorry you are not happy with your Car Shades. We can see that looking at the image you have provided the clips on the top edge appears to be quite close together, however, they should be more in the top corners in a similar position to where you have your bottom clips which may help. If you would also like us to send you some additional clips we would be happy to do so and you can email us at sales@carshades.co.uk. With regards travelling on the motorway, we would advise not to wind your window down fully when travelling at high speed. We hope that helps. Thank you Car Shades

“This is an update on the review below, Carshades got in touch and sent some more clips, enough of them were easy enough to clip onto the edge, to fix the shades in place, now that they are fitted and I can open the back windows with the shades in place, I think they are fantastic, the car is much cooler, and grandchildren protected, looking forward to summer, updated stars to 5, would recommend these shades and the company to everyone. Thankyou very much carshades for the service, and the clips. ordered online, they came in good time, despatch of order I cannot fault, But some of the clips just will not go on, the edge of the shade is wider than the clip, will have to try to open them up a bit, at the moment the shades are just wedged into the window, to try for size the fit is not bad at all, the shade at the back window is ok but thought it would be a better fit, they overlap in the middle I am not keen I hope the clip does not scratch the back window, will try to adjust them when fingers recover from trying to get clips on. If I can get them to fit properly with the clips they would be great if not they will have to go back, if the window was open they would fly off. Tried to call to change the clips but cannot get a reply. have given up trying, customer service needs to up the game to match despatch. Shades seem quite good, but useless without clips that fit, hence the 1 star, with clips that work I think it would be 5 stars.”

“I looked everywhere for quality car shades for my Volvo s60 and I am extremely pleased with my decision to purchase a set here. The quality is excellent, fitting real easy to do. They look really good as well. They are not cheap but they are quality with a factory tailor fit.”

“I have a 2013 Citroen C4 Picasso, when I went to order it showed 06-13 or 14+ Mine is the newer shape of the 2014 so I emailed to check which ones I should order and they replied very quickly and said go for the 2014+ as I must have the newer facelift model, I ordered them online Easter Weekend, had an email to say DHL would deliver Wednesday, but something went wrong and they didn't get delivered until Thursday which was fine, they took me less than ten minutes to install all of them and now our dog has plenty of shade in the back of the car, definitely recommend these (a friend recommended them to us)”

“Great product, quick and easy to install filling the whole window. we tried other window shades but they never fitted perfectly with sun light coming around the edges and catching our toddler in the eyes.”

“This now my 4 the set and these fit perfectly like the rest. Easy instructions just needed a tiny screw driver or credit card to lift the rubber seals in the car so the fittings slide in.”
