“I’m a potential new customer but once my account was opened and I made my first purchase my payment card was somehow a security issue despite being ok everywhere else. I was then asked to confirm my personal details by sending it over email, this is obviously a security issue itself so I have cancelled my new account, I won’t do business with a company who suggests insecure verification .”

“A brilliantly simple way to save a little money on everyday shopping! I have used Cardyard for several years and you cannot recommend it highly enough. Sometimes you have to get lucky with the cards you want, but I generally buy them as and when I see them (as all cards have at least a year's validity).”

Thanks for you nice review Ian. Its worth noting we only guarantee balances on gift cards for 42 days, so although the retailer won't cancel them for 12 months or so, if there is a problem after 6 weeks we may not cover it. Kind regards, Mike

“I have been blocked from buying or selling giftcards. Nobody replies to phone (you just get a recorded message), email or online chat. Why? Is this customer service. I just want somebody to assist.”

“I’ve only ever used it to sell gift cards but it’s a great tool for selling unwanted gift cards. The only downside is not expanding their list of stores eg google play, boots, superdry etc. If the gift card is not in demand then it can take a long time to sell too. But otherwise I am very satisfied with the platform :)”

“I've bought lots of e-gift cards from Cardyard and they've all worked perfectly. In particularly, all my Amazon purchases are made using gift cards that I've bought at a 3% discount. It's a no-brainer.”

“CardYard is a very good website for both selling gift cards and also buying gift cards. I sold one and received my store credit on time, and I also bought many gift cards and received them very quickly through e-mail. The only thing that I think could be improved would be the payment time frame. I received my payment within two weeks (the expected payment timeframe), but I think they should implement a feature where the buyer can confirm that they have redeemed the gift card, which in turn can result in an earlier payment for the seller.”

Thanks for taking time to leave your review and for the feedback. It should be noted that even after a customer has redeemed their gift card into a retailers account, that retailer can still remove those funds later, or cancel orders and even cancel the whole account, so we need to be careful about paying earlier than normal.
