“What a fantastic trip to Canada, organized by Adla Toal. It was complicated including seven flights and five destinations. Hotels, transfers and flights went like clockwork. Excellent customer service from start to finish.”

“Top class customer service from Brian Walker. Booking was very easy and local flights from Newcastle instead of Heathrow were added to the holiday free of charge. He took us through the itinerary and because of his local knowledge suggested we change one of the trips to make the holiday run smoother. We are looking forward to the Rocky Mountaineer and Alaska cruise. Will use again. Thanks Brian.”

“I was in town and I saw a poster advertising Barrhead Travel as the Canada specialists. I impulsively I went to their office and I was met by Adla Toal I gave her the brief and over a few days she curated the best package she could give us including trips tours, cruises and excursions. I heavily relied on her experience as she has been to Canada and enjoyed a similar trip. She booked us great flights, top quality hotels and the best class of cruise. Her knowledge of the locality was of assistance too . Any queries we had she answered (no matter how trivial) and "held my hand " about some of the decisions we made about locations and cruise choices. During my holiday she remained in contact and sorted out an admin problem for us. Very good service I would definitely recommend ADLA TOAL and the team If you desire a top quality curated Canadian and Alaskan holiday The only drawback was that Barrhead did not accept Amex! And I had to get a new credit card!!”

“Adla Toal organized my holiday to Canada Rocky Mountaineering and Alaska cruise for two weeks. It went like a dream as everything went according to plan. It was a spectacular holiday as I witnessed the most beautiful Alaska, the glaciers and the whale watching not forgetting the Rocky Mountaineering Gold leaf experience with so many panoramic views. I am so pleased that Adla put it together so precisely.”

“Adla was incredibly helpful and provided us with various options on flights, cruise packages and hotels to allow us to make informed choices and secure great vfm. In the end it all went like clockwork with the trip on the rocky mountaineer, Banff, Vancouver and the Alaskan cruise. The scenery was breathtaking, the levels of service and hospitality were fantastic and we would highly recommend the company and destination- well done Adla!”

“We contacted Barrhead Travel agents to get further details of our holiday. These we forwarded by return and we subsequently got clarification the next morning and booked our holiday. It was easily achieved and hassle free. Our agent was obviously very experienced.”

“Have just returned from the most amazing holiday in Canada, Sophie was just brilliant in helping me put together my dream itinerary and it didn't disappoint! Although I had a lot packed in while I was there, everything ran seamlessly and was all of a very high standard. Cannot recommend this company enough, and will definitely be a return customer.”

“We had the best holiday, Adla was great from booking all the way through. We did a lot of travelling and all transport arrangements were excellent. Rocky Mountaineer was a lovely experience. We loved all the experiences Jasper, Banff, Wild Life trip, Icefields, Calgary Stampede, everything was amazing and so enjoyable and well organised. Highly recommend!”

“Adla listened to our ideas and put together an amazing 5 week land and cruise trip for us - Vancouver , Yukon, Alaska, Rockies and Calgary Stampede. Every question and tweak was dealt with speedily, efficiently and patiently - we asked a lot! This was the first trip we haven’t organised by ourselves but will definitely be using Adla and Barrhead Travel again.”

“We have used Barrhead for the last 8 years . We have alway booked through them with Adla, she is so helpful and knowledgeable we have personally met her while on a tour of Scotland although we live in Southampton and she works in Glasgow lovely to put a face to a voice. We have booked holidays all around the world not just Canada. Adla seems to find the best of everything at a fantastic price. We have just booked a holiday to Vietnam/Cambodia .Cant say how reassuring it is booking with professionals...We recommend Barrhead and a top class travel agent Adla...”

“Excellent customer service, very personal and always reassuring and there with answers to all my questions. Anne put together a package after listening to my wish list, re-adjusted as requested, nothing was too much for her. When there were fires in Jasper, Anne reorganised that part of our trip to perfection. Sorting a change of destination from the Rocky Mountaineer and transfers in place of car hire which worked brilliantly. This was the most amazing holiday. We took so many photos and yet they do not convey the vastness of the constant vistas across Western Canada and Alaska - fantastic! I would thoroughly recommend Anne Macaldowie. We will be calling her when we plan our next holiday.”

“Just returned from a great holiday with the itinery organised by Michelle. Vancouver, Victoria, Knight Inlet, Whistler, Sun Peaks, Revelstoke, Banff, Calgary. Sadly, due to the wildfires at Jasper last minute changes were required to the route, but this was fixed quickly and efficiently, similarly with amendments to ferry crossings. Hotels were booked conveniently for car hire offices, sea tour departures and town centres in various locations. All ticket confirmations, ferry crossings, seaplane departures and car hire went through smoothly with no issues. There were many highlights, but Knight Inlet really is amazing, grizzlies, black bear, humpback whales and killer whales spotted at various points (for maximum bear viewing September is the time). The staff there are so knowledgeable and good natured. At Banff, we were so lucky to be able to go up the Icefield Parkway to the glacier on the first day it reopened. This is the first time I've used Canada Travel Specialists and I can say they really know their stuff about the locations and logistics. We hope the people of Jasper can rebuild the town and look forward to including that in another trip in the years to come. Thanks again Michelle.”

She provided an excellent service guiding us from planning through to booking a 7day cruise to Alaska followed by a trip on the Rocky mountaineer train. Both of these experiences were superb and we could not fault anything, all went smoothly thanks to her vast knowledge and organizational skills. Highly recommend, thanks again!”
