“We visited the store for our purchase of logs, rather than via a delivery. John was very knowledgeable, helpful and super friendly. After some advice, we purchased a mix of birch and ash - the logs are excellent quality and burn far better than anything we've used so far. We'll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Calido.”

“Cheapest I could find and no surcharge for delivery even to the Highlands of Scotland so well done Calido. Delivery was super quick even for a full pallet and on the day requested. Full marks.”

“This is the first time we have used these logs,due to Verdo crashing as usual at christmas. They are a bit smaller in comparison to verdo,but do burn reasonably well,the jury is out at the moment but will give them a chance.On the upside the delivery was on time, with no problems unloading the logs. Regards Rod”

“Kiln Dried Birch Firewood burns very cleanly very little sparks and retains the heat for a considerable time, Delivery on time, no issues. Lewis Bark Briquettes, retains the heat and burns slower than the Birch, Ideal if you are going out for 2 to 3 hours, burns away to nothing Waxling Firelighters does what it says on the bag lights the fire with no hassle, idiot proof.”

“We purchased a crate of Birch for our wood stove. Very happy with the advice we received at Calido and extremely happy with the product. A massive thanks to the delivery driver too, he was a great help in getting the crate exactly where I needed it, saving me a lot of work. We will definitely be using Calido again next time!”
