“I recently bought polycarbonate seet, glazing bars, uPVC fascias and accessories to replece rotten wooden garage fascia and to refurbish a 20 year old shed roof. I think the C&A product range is outstanding and the quality of the goods is excellent. This is clearly a company that have 'got it all together'. The catalogue, the website and even technical help on the phone provide everything you could ask for. I wish all suppliers could be like that!”

“My order arrived in very good time. I thought the box did not need to be the size it was (Too big). I have tried the Solvent Cleaner and it does clean well but it drys out far to fast so you have to keep using more cleaner solution at least 3 or 4 times to get rid of the streaks. This product needs to have a longer drying time then it would work much better and use less to clean the area. I have not had a chance to use the Polycarbonate cleaner yet, so it will be interesting to so if this lives up to what it supposed to do! Both of the above bottles had a lot of sellotape around the bottle cap and top of the bottle which if I removed all the tape would also remove the bottle label and other information. The tape did not stop some of the solution in both bottles from leaking slightly (so this defeats the reason for putting the tape on in the first place). Because both bottles had leaked the tape was now very sticky because the solution had slightly dissolved the adhesive which mad it messy taking the tape off. The third item I purchased was a roll of Glass Wipes for £4.95 which I thought would have been a better quality which is why I purchased it from C&A. I could have got the same or better from lots of other Shops/DIY for less money (even The Pound Shop). So all in all not over happy with my first order and last.”

Sorry you are not happy with the products and hopefully I can answer some of the points you have raised. 1) Solvent cleaner is by its very nature a solvent based product and is designed to dry out and then wiped clean when dry. This is how the product is used and is extremely popular in the trade and we have only ever had good comments 2)The tape around the lids is to prevent them from coming loose in transit, I will ask the warehouse to ensure they avoid sticking it to the labels. 3) The glass wipe is a lint free tissue it is not the same as kitchen roll and also a lot longer than what you would find in a £ store. It is designed to clean plastic and glass without leaving marks and streaks. All these products are professional products and can not be compared to those available in high street stores. We always ask customer to call if they experience problems with any of our products and we could have explained how to use these correctly.

“Fascia so, guttering etc purchased in Anthracite, I found service excellent and delivery as agreed. I cannot find cheaper prices anywhere and the quality is excellent, which makes up for not being able to set the actual delivery date”

“I PURCHASED 12 ITEMS NECESSARY TO PUT UP A CARPORT. OF THESE ITEMS ONLY 6 WERE CORRECT ON RECIEPT. IT TOOK NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS TO SORT THIS MATTER OUT. EVEN THEN EXCEPT FOR THE INTERVENSION OF BONNY I WOULD HAVE BEEN SENT INCORRECT ITEMS. IT WAS EXPLAINED THAT THE PICKER HAD SOMEHOW PICKED MY ITEMS FROM 3 DIFFERENT DESIGNS. ON THAT BASIS ALONE I QUESTION YOUR METHOD OF QUALITY CONTROL. DUE TO HOLIDAYS I CANNOT COMPLETE THIS CARPORT AND LOOK FORWARD WITH DREAD TO SEEING WHAT ITEMS YOU HAVE SENT ME TO COMPLETE.”

I have looked into your order and would like to clarify a few things. Your order was changed by you and unfortunately one of the items was not updated correctly (not 3 designs or 6 items) The problem came with the small accessories as the wrong box got dispatched as your order had already been picked before it got changed. I have reviews our procedures and it appears we tried to get the changes through the system as quick as possible to avoid delaying your order. This resulted in the a member of staff breaking procedures, although this was for the best intentions it is what resulted in the error. I have informed all members of staff that the procedures are there for a reason and trying to cut corners to satisfy the customer can and often results in mistakes. Sorry for the problems caused

“I found C & A building plastics when looking for some roofing sheeting on line. When I phoned your company I was greeted by the charming and efficient Bonnie who gave my valuable advice on the sheeting I required. After placing my relatively small order, I received postal confirmation and an informative catalogue which prompted me to call again to add to my order ( for some upvc cladding etc.) Bonnie readily amended my order and it was delivered within a couple of days by the cheerful, efficient and helpful Chris. The whole experience was a sheer delight . I will thoroughly recommend your company and will not hesitate to order from you again in the future when/if I need any more building plastics. “i purchased some soffit and anthracite trims to tidy up a couple of home jobs. The sales lady was extremely helpful and as they were 5m lengths delivery was arranged. I was rang and told of delivery next day and sure enough all arrived on time with a very helpful delivery driver. In all a great firm to deal with and every promise fulfilled. Gus”

“I purchased the greenhouse pack of Polycarb 10 sheets. Best price I could find online and in shops, very reasonable indeed. My delivery came within 48 hours of ordering which I was impressed with as I ordered on a bank holiday. All email and postal communications were prompt and detailed. Great service, wouldn't hesitate to order from you again.”

“i have used C & A plastics on a number of project to date and find these are ideal for many instalations. I used Polycarbonate sheets to build a large greenhouse, 9 ply sheets for double (9) glazing and my recent buy was to put a roof over a patio area. Absolutely first glass”
