Delivery and service were excellent. We had a problem with some glazing bars because we ordered the wrong base. The returns policy was extortionate 20% plus £10 admin. The differnce between the two types of base was not clear on the web site and although we only wanted to return the base we had to return the top as well and then repurchase both. The excuse that they were sold as a unit although the top fitted both types of base was unconvincing.

Thank you for your viewpoint. I have looked up your order and can see that you have ordered from the website the Eden glazing bar and then later decided to change to the Hawk glazing bar system. The website has clear photos showing the different section and a clear description that the Eden bar has two plastic sections as opposed to the Hawk’s aluminium base and plastic top which is why the Eden bar is cheaper. In the T&C we are clear about the returns process and that we can not accept back only components and must be the whole product that was purchased when it is a product with multiple components. We also detail the returns process with admin and restocking expenses, which during the purchase process you have marked as saying you have accepted. We sell a lot of products, and many have multiple components that are not available separately, as a company we must create procedures for everyone to follow that encompass all of these and is part of the reason why we do not accept returns of subcomponents instead of the whole product sold. The labour, time, resources, and opportunity cost (of being able to serve other customers) are generally not recouped by the minor restocking charges (which are industry standard by us and alternatives suppliers as shown in their T&C’s). This changing of your mind on which glazing bar you wanted, has therefore been a cost for all parties but we hope you have now the components you require for your job, that it goes well for you, and that you were also fortunate to save on the polycarbonate sheet ordered due to the 20% August promotion that saved you the £10 from your order. Shipping costs need to be reviewed, all I needed were a few strips of plastic trim and some glue, total cost around £30 but ended up having to pay £70 by the time the £30+VAT shipping costs within the UK were added. The items weren't even delivered by a van or lorry but posted out. No one else sells this stuff near where I live so had no choice but pay up. Very disappointed.

Products are great. The senior salesman was really rude to me swore at me repeatedly I think he even called me the c word cancelled my order without my agreement and slammed the phone down. I was told by the person who took my order everything was in stock but then was told on my delivery day that is was 8 weeks wait but could be longer. I asked the senior salesman for some compensation all he had to say was no, but instead he went on a rant and verbally assaulted me I was advised to call the police to report it. I called back and spoke to Craig who was really helpful and apologetic but this was not for him to apologise. My order has been received now but I really could have done without the stress.

In house staff were fantastic Product still need to be installed on the roof Driver of C&A plastic. Was swearing and moaning at my daughter. About where we live Not impressed And no response from C&A

Delivered 3 shower panels, one was scratched and had tp be replaced. Didn't notice that of the 3 alumimium strips delivered 1 was bent and not suitable for purpose. TheCompany refused to give me a refund because I didn't tell them within 72 hours. Having spent almost £300 with C&A Plastics, I really don't believe thia is the right way to treat customers. It seems to me that the firm have a lack of quality control in what they deliver and blame the customer for their shoddy goods. If I was running this firm I would take a closer look at the standard and care taken in what they deliver. The attitude of their sales guys is that these things happen. Well they don't need to happen. Thinnk twice before you make a purchase from this Company and check everything before you accept delivery. The driver refused to give me any paperwork on delivery when I requested it.

Hello thank you for taking the time to leave a review. would like to ask for an order ref so i can look into this more please? however to answer just a couple of the points raised. 1. You mention one of the panels was scratched and had to be replaced? clearly then you checked the order at time of it arriving to spot this damage as these panels are in cardboard boxes and would have had to be removed from this to notice the damage? You then mention we replaced ...this was because it was within 72 hours of delivery. 2. you mention that you didn't notice 1 of the strips being bent however you contacted us after 72hrs of delivery which you clearly checked as you mentioned the first issue? Sadly if the items have been on site for any period of time and damage happens on site why would we replace? we offer 72 hours to check items which is 3 days after that I am sorry but how much more can we offer? The attitude isn't "these things happen" it is how much more can we do or offer? . With regards to the driver refusing to give you paper work I find this extremely strange as every delivery made of this type of product is made via our own drivers and as such I don't understand why they wouldn't however as mentioned if you provide us an order ref then we will look into it. Other brands we used are fully wrapped to the colour this one was only partially and don’t look great as the top is white and under side grey

Hi Jamie, Thank you for your review and points you have raised and will offer some information for the reasons they are made this way. The guttering is dual extruded and this is becoming more and more common to the point others are starting to follow. Some of the reasons for manufacturing them this way are . 1) having a white inner helps reduce the heat retention during summer months which stops the cracking/popping noises sometimes experienced as they expand (dark colours draw more heat) The dual extrusion also helps keep the costs down as the colour pigments and need for pure virgin materials for all the gutter are reduced. This why we are able to offer a full range of guttering and low prices than other suppliers. All the gutters come with the manufacturers warrantee and this process does not effect the function. I hope this helps explain why they are manufactured in this way and look forward to seeing you again.

Our dealings with Craig were fine - he was friendly and helpful. Problems started with our order seemingly lost and no delivery. We were concerned by then that we may have ordered the wrong thing and sent a photo of an existing cap to Craig. Confirmed it was different but could not find the same one we had. Suggested a change or even a refund as our order was still lost in the system. Today the order was delivered and I have heard nothing further so we seem to be stuck. Disappointing.

Can you please elaborate as to what exactly is wrong with your order as we can not find and form of contact from you and there are no notes on the delivery paperwork or the order on our system. It seems you have never made contact to discuss what was wrong with your order. It was delivered last week and having look through it I can not see anything unusual except you have ordered round downpipe to go with square gutter. Our square outlets do take both round and square downpipes so cant see this as an issue but its very hard to rectify a problem if we do not know what the problem is?

Bit chaotic, Tried to ring to check something, 1.2 hrs wasted. Got from position 4 to position one twice only to be put back to position 4! I understand about covid impact but not sure a phone system can get infected by it. But im not a doctor. Will not be back.

Purchased 2 internal window boards during lockdown as my usual supplier was not open. The window boards had a bow in them from the bullnose to the back. I still used as I thought that once adhesive was applied the bow would go. It did not. I ended up taking the board off once room was decorated as it still had its bow in it where it had come away from the adhesive. I then purchased 2 more boards from my original supplier which were fine. I wish I had waited and not wasted my money.

product was fine problem was I ordered cladding for a job and order arrived with parts wrong and missing only took just over 4 days to get right parts after 4 phone calls and 4 promises to get it to me quickly not impressed was going to order cladding for another job and a large car port but will look for another supplier will not be back.

You order and are given a vague "delivery will be 5 to 7 days". The delivery is confirmed at 8 o'clock the night before with no time to arrange to be present. He then delivered them to the wrong house anyway and left them in full view of the street.

Placed an order online and carefully read the delivery info " 90% of deliveries are made within 5 days and 98% of deliveries are made within 8 days and on occasions a small number may take a little longer but this is normally due to things like severe weather events" I made sure everything i was ordering stated in stock and yet when i rang to chase my order after a week and quoted the website info, the man at the end of the phone laughed and said "where do they get their figures from" I chased 4 times and no one could give me a date but just kept telling me i would get a call the day before. when the items did finally arrive i had not received any call to say they was coming, it was just lock that i was stating work late that day and was still here to receive them.

Spent around £800 on a new polycarb roof using York bars. Order came and was short one glazing bar. Friver was very helpful and phoned up head office. Was not really given definitive time for missed item to be delivered. Phoned up head office myself. Noone got back to me that day. Apparantly they have to do an investigation. Is that my problem? Anyway got the bar 2 days later. So waited in a full 2 days for my order. Next many items look like they are thrown around. So dents and scratches. Had to hammer out dent in glazing bar as didn't want to wait another 2 days. Debris in ends of poly from factory cutting. Did my best to vacuum it out. The york bar swivel fixings are also almost impossible to use. Bolt is about 1mm too short. I gave up and devised my own system. Additional glazing bar came with cap installed so unecessary effort trying to get it off. Small point but already been messed about. Staff at head office seem to think they are doing you a favour correcting the companies own errors. On a positive note the final product looks great but for my next project I wont be using your company as too many niggles.

Your prices are good. Point of sale good, however it all goes wrong after the sale has been made. No contact with customer about delays of order. Customer has to chase their purchase constantly. Delivery 2 weeks late. Communication poor. Then invoice sent again even though payment was made at the time of the order. Delivery advice sent again too after delivery was made!!
