“C&A has a good range of quality products, for home and garden, as well as for some industrial installation. It would be even better if deliveries can be faster and more efficient. In the past I would have collected the items by visiting the depot in Bidder St, London. However, nowadays driving into London is too much of a hassle!”

“Purchased the 5.3 x 3.5 Canopy. While the canopy itself is excellent the fixings supplied are terrible. Along with others the pop rivet gun lasted one rivet then jammed. Problem solved with easy drive screws, which I would thoroughly recommend.The bolt to fix the base sheared off whilst trying to adjust it. It was not cross threaded, also the smaller screws for the end plates were too small. I would recommend this canopy, but better quality fixings would make it fantastic. From order to delivery the staff were great, would have given 5 stars if the fixings had been better.”

“Fixing bolts different lengths. No explanation. But otherwise a good kit. Awkward to fit on your own. I had to make a drilling template. Canopy flexes, so holes still drift about. Clear canopy had 2 dinks, but not cracked. Pleased with overall outcome.”

“We purchased some 16 mm polycarbonate sheets for a contract from c&a due to competitive pricing.Ordering was straight forward and easy. I was aware delivery advice is 5-10 days. When I enquired about delivery date I was given a specific date. When products failed to arrive and I pursued this next day I was told driver is out all week and delivery would be sometime that week.This caused some inconvenience as delivery was another three days later.Please allow plenty of time when ordering. Products were of a reasonable quality .”

“So this is a great store with friendly and helpful staff. I would use more often but the returns policy is too harsh charging £10 per item returned plus 20% handling charge, not brilliant when my customer changes their after I’ve purchased or if when doing the job a different way of doing it becomes apparent using different materials. The website doesn’t record purchases made in store on your account so this can hinder accounting later in the year or even when invoicing.”
