I ordered materials for the hospital and reserved people to install, but unfortunately, get a call on Friday morning with the message that my materials will be delivered on Monday instead of Friday. No apologise or try to arrange courier delivery.

Hello I am very sorry that we haven't met your timescale , but I feel it is a little unfair to say we didn't apologise. The order was placed on the 6/7/2020 online and that you had read and agreed to the delivery timescales but we actually were attempting to get this order to you on Friday 10/7/2020 sadly I called you to explain the our driver had called in sick and was unable to do the delivery run and that we had re arranged the whole delivery schedule for next week to get these goods out on Monday. I do understand that you are working to dead lines however we do say that at the moment delivery times can run slightly longer but I honestly thought that from you placing an order on the internet at 14.40 on 6th July and us even attempting to arrange a delivery for fri 10th was better than stated delivery schedules. We to are working under immense pressure supplying goods to all sectors including the NHS throughout the whole pandemic and lock down whilst having as little as 30% of the staff at times to ensure safe working practices for both our staff and customers. Again I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations on this we do attempt to pre plan but sadly there are cases were forward planning falls down. We do offer a click and collect service which you could have used if the products are required urgently which is something many of our customers have used and actually prefer, our delivery schedule is made clear on our website and does involve a degree of preplanning by our customer when materials are required by a certain time. The information was clearly posted on the website so all I can do I apologise if this was not clear enough

`i bought it and paid, which you took out within a couple of days, but it was nearly 3 weeks before you delivered my goods, i could of caught buses or trains, come and picked it up my self and still got back before you delivered, the only comunication i got off you other than just before you delivered was when i phoned up to find out where it was. very bad service and vey bad communication, i will never order again from this company.

Products are absolutely fine, but the delivery date anytime in the next 15 days is ridiculous, unworkable and downright unprofessional. I suggest you farm out the delivery to a professional courier company. I took hundreds of pounds from a old lady and when she asked me when I would fit, I couldn't give her a date, making me look like a rogue trader...

Damage sheets and when I asked to speak to a manager they said the managers don't speak to customer. And the lad on the phone was very rube and totally unhelpful. Very bad service. Would use again. 😡 would go to BQ or wicked. To get better materials

Having looked at the extensive notes on this order, firstly it was not your order but it looks like it was a relations (wife etc) There are many notes from various team members about the abusive language directed at them by yourself and they have a right not to be abused or potential put into an abusive situation. This all appears to stem from the issue of a sheet (1 of 4) having some damage. This however is after the items being in your care and on site for a week and past the checking period, and after you signing that they are all in good condition. Our staff are not here to be abused, and we do not free issue material that has been damaged on site by customers while in their care as this would disadvantage those who are genuine. We look forward to you buying from another outlet to ensure our staff are not verbally abused.

Hello firstly thank you for taking the time to leave a review, I would just like to answer some points you raised. Firstly your order was placed on our website at 15.46 on Friday 20th, sadly our carrier collects from us at 15.00 meaning the latest we can do for next working day is 14.00 (time to wrap and label etc). Secondly the order left our store on our next working day (Monday 23rd) this was collected from us via TNT carrier on the same day. Lastly on checking TNT I can see the items were delivered to site next day (Tuesday 24th) and signed for at 11.32am. I understand that you feel let down by the lead time however as you can see we honestly actioned as a "next working day" delivery to the best of our ability. Hope this helps answer some of the points you had raised? Yours C & A

Sorry to hear you are unhappy that staff have lunch breaks. I have looked into this order, and see it was at 12:16 and given the person who severed you and the roster for lunches, she was in fact in the middle of her lunch break. When asked she said she had interrupted her lunch to give assistance to the others by serving. It is unfortunate how when someone does a good deed they are then berated for doing so by those like yourself that are unaware. Yours C & A Building Products

Received my £1080 order after 30+ days. Poor communication and no reason as to why my order was late. I was told I’d receive a call when my order would be delivered yet the delivery showed up 5pm with zero communication. Very poor customer service and extremely poor communication.

We have looked into this order history, and the vast amount of notes on the system, along with notations of operators about conversations had. I think the comment about zero communication is therefore somewhat overstated, but I can see that due to a series of issues that this did indeed take much longer than normal and is quite an exception. We do apologies for the delayed delivery, but hope you enjoy the finished project. Yours C & A Building Products

I was very unhappy with the time it took to deliver my order I rang 3 times and each time I was told a different date I had to wait 9 days I have had items from abroad within 2 days. a good product but let down on delivery.

Thank you for your review however I would like to address the comments you have made. You ordered 2 x 5M lengths of fascia board and I can assure you that you would have got these in 2 days from abroad. It's not an item that can be posted. 5M lengths are delivered on our own transport and the area you live in is up to 10 days, we delivered within this time and when you purchased the items you were advised this was the delivery window through the shipping method and our delivery terms. We also emailed you stating your order was out for delivery and sent a text. The driver even called you the evening before to advise what time you would receive your order. Sorry we have failed on this occasion to meet your expectations however we also offer a special delivery service should you require items urgently but this would have been around £250 to make the 300 mile round trip which I do not think you would want to pay for £35 worth of materials

I came to your warehouse for collecting my order. Staff really careless and couldn't give two monkeys for the customer. Even quality of roofing materials of not the same quality as before

Tried ordering on the free delivery offer. Website wants to charge delivery. E-mailed via contact and no reply, phone or e-mail. So presume this is a con hoping you wont notice the delivery charge. It is claimed it will come off at checkout. Items still in basket presume they hope I will just order anyway. Well they can forget it, if ordering check very carefully or go to somebody who does care. Not happy.

Thank you for the email that has been forwarded on. The safe return of an items is the responsibility of the customer to get it to the store and the costs associated in doing so, and the product then has its own processes cycle for unloading, checking rebooking into stock which is very different to those that are delivered. The charges we make for delivery do not actually cover the true economic costs of doing so when taking into account, wages, fuel, maintenance, depreciation etc and so are in fact subsidised by the product purchased. In a return there is no subsidy and the original subsidy that was made on the items is then also lost. Having materials on vehicle for return also limit its capacity for making deliveries which can delay other orders within the system. We offer the collection of products as a customer service relationship offering for those who do not have a large enough vehicle to transport the goods themselves but it does cost a lot and we do make this clear in our terms and conditions that the cost of a return will be different to that of a delivery. As for this particular order we clearly lose money on servicing it, I will certainly be having words with those who processed it to re-educate them as to the economics of running our specialist vehicle as it looks like the operator has clearly taken a shinning to you and given you a below cost collection rate. I appreciate you are feeling that you are disappointed at having to pay a returns charge, just as we are disappointed that we will be losing money on servicing this loss making order in an attempt to make you happy in the name of customer services, but it looks like this is an attempt being made in vain. These situations are therefore a lose / lose situation for all. If you are still unhappy with this, then please just take in the items for delivery and sign the returns note as “will return to store myself” and we will refund the collection fee and look forward to you returning them in store. We hope you enjoy your finished project and look forward to your repeat custom, while remembering the old adage of measure twice, cut once.

Order placed 28/2/2019 and still waiting on10/3/2019. Two extremely unhappy customers waiting for me to complete their work. I paid by card, received an invoice dated 28/2/2019 Reference QU1058290. Made a phonecall to chase the materials up and was told they should have been sent out on Friday 1st but something had gone wrong but they will be sent out on Monday. That was the 4th. It is now the 10th and still nothing. You can not use Brexit as an excuse for this. Pull your fingers out or close the company down.

Thank you for the message, I believe one of our staff have now looked into this and spoken with you. It appears that TNT has lost the consignment sent out and we are working on resolving the problem with you on this. We certainly do not think this is a Brexit issue lol

Dear Mr D Berry, I am sorry that you feel we have failed you with regards delivery however I have read all the notes on the order and the couriers tracking information and would like to ask exactly what it is we could have done better. The carrier attempted delivery to the address and no one was at home to receive it, they left a card asking you to contact them to arrange delivery at a convenient time. Liam also rang on 3 separate occasions and never managed to make contact accept by email. You also raised a charge back with paypal 2 hours after Liam emailed you stating he had tried to contact you and sent an email to this end. It is really hard to deliver a customers orders when there is no one at the address or we are unable to make contact. With regards to your comments about patronising emails, i really do not see which part of his emails could be taken as patronising, he apologised for the delay in delivery on more than one occasion and he also told you he would keep you updated on his investigations with TNT. With regards Paypal making the refund i personally authorised it this morning and cant help but feel that you actually no longer wanted the order, which is how it seems due to your evasive nature when trying to make contact then we would have cancelled it and issued a refund immediately. Once again sorry for not meeting your expectations

I resent purchased some material the sales clerk was very unfriendly and there is no one at the branch to gave you a lift with the occurred sheeting I purchase unto the van.

Dear Mr Forde Thank you for taking the time to leave the review. We have identified the 'clerk' as you have put it and spoke with them. It appears this stems down to the fact, which is also evident from your comment, that the responsibility for loading a vehicle is with the customer. Unfortunately there have been instances in the past when a member of staff had helped and the customer then falsely claimed that they damaged their vehicle. It is with regret that because of such instances the company policy has had to become that the client is responsible for loading their own transport, and this include supplying their own labor to do so. We are sorry that you feel negatively about this, but look forward to seeing you and your friends again. C & A Building Plastics

Materials good, however aBsolute terrible customer service. I ordered a wrong part by mistake, my error, called fooling morning to correct, still waiting for call back 2 months later, stuck with part I didn't want. Tried emailing regarding this matter, still awaiting response 6 weeks later. As I say product good, service shite, outcome - plenty of other suppliers out there

After looking into this order, there does appear to be notes upon it that you had emailed in after delivery that you had ordered items in error, we have no notes with regards to a telephone converstaion that you mention, and it is unusual for not recieving a return call. We would appreciate if you are able to provide us the name of the person you spoke with so that we can investigate this internally. We are sorry that you feel that you have not had an experience that you feel you should have, and that this has resulted in this negative feedback. We are glad that you have found the materials good, and happy with your finished project. This experience does indeed reinforce the old builders adage of "measure twice and cut once" and in this case material list check twice and purchase once. It sounds like we will not be seeing you again as a customer from this review, but we wish you all the best with your future projects C & A Building Plastics

Bought some white soffit cladding 5m x 300mm only to find they're not straight. Slightly agitated as once spoken to C&A They have informed me they will replace with straight cladding. However still waiting on a reply as to when that will happen..haven't had my calls or emails answered. They need to improve on their customer services and after sales care. :-/

While I am very happy with the product the sales service was very poor. I explained I needed to cover an area 2.5m long by 2.3m wide, I was a shored that you did one sheet that size. Luckily your order conformation arrived first but confirming one sheet ordered 2.5 x 0.7m you can understand my disappointment. I called and I was a shored that I could have a sheet 2.1m wide and another at 700mm. great. But half an hour latter your delivery manager then called to check the order, good job he did as the sizes were wrong again. The order was again corrected. Finally when your lorry tuned up with just the roof sheets and bars and NO FIXINGS. Another call from your driver to the depo, yes sir they will be on the next lorry out of the yard. However by 2.30pm I called again to be told yes your box of bits is here, and you will get them tomorrow. I explained this was no use to me I needed them today, after a while he agreed to get them out to me, which he did. Any way the roof is up and the job completed, but I do think your staff need some product training as there were far to many errors.

Dear Sir Thank you for leaving this review, I have looked at the order and there do appear to be a lot of notes on the order itself at various different stages, including the missing items at the point of delivery. We do apologies for this unusual level of service that has happened on this order. This time of year is always a little stretched with the school holidays putting extra work load on for deliveries to schools at this time, while also having restricted capacity due to staff having to take holidays with their children and suppliers also suffering the same issues. we do try to balance this with additional temporary Uni student placements, but they are not as conversant / experienced in all aspects of the process. We will of course be showing all involved this review and reinforce the importance of the processes at every stage. Yours C & A Building Plastics

Terrible. Non of what I ordered came as described. I'm having to throw 90% of it in the skip as it took over a month to get it delivered even though I had paid extra for delivery. I have had enough of trying to get in touch with them, but for the record, I'll never use them again.

Thank you for comments however we feel this review is a little unfair for the following reasons. 1) your order took 3 1/2 weeks and not over a month 2) you were informed at the time of your order some items were out of stock with the option to cancel 3) you did not pay extra for delivery 4) we do not understand why you now have to throw the products away , they are not perishable? 5) W have never had any contact from you whilst your order was in our system. Also in the terms and condition you have been sent you can return the products within 14 days if you no longer require them. I am not really sure what else we can do when you have the option to cancel before delivery or the option to return the items if you no longer required them.
