“Like so many on-line retailers, this company puts its faith in the utterly incompetent Hermes company for deliver. The customer gets no option to change the courier at the purchase stage, only finding out later who the carrier is. BuyAParcel did respond to my emails, but dogmatically refused to re-send the item because, they said, Hermes would probably still deliver. I know from bitter previous experience this is not the case, since Hermes are complete liars, and have no meaningful customer service. They lost or miss-appropriated the item. When I finally purchased a replacement from BuyAParcel, at my own cost and paying a postage surcharge, they told me this would be sent with UKMail and would be delivered by the post office. This was untrue, and DHL initially lost the item, though finally, after four weeks from the initial order, I was able to contact DHL and assist with directions - something you just cannot do with Hermes. Buy a Parcel may be a bona fide company, but don't do themselves any favours by associating with an uncaring and inept courier.”
