“Our butler was lovely. Really relaxed and easy to talk to. However, I feel like he lacked confidence. The evening didn’t really flow very well. We spent most of the time guessing riddles which was fun at first but got a bit boring after a while. He didn’t offer to make any drinks or anything and drifted off into independent conversations instead of guiding the group into playing the games etc. it felt a bit disjointed and I think people were losing interest.”

Hi Emma, Sorry to hear you weren't completely satisfied with the service, the butler in question regularly works for us and usually gets good feedback so we were surprised by this. We agree the games should be more varied and drinks should regularly be being offered during the activity. We are raising these concerns with the butler to ensure he is aware of what's expected and offering further training on games to ensure this doesn't happen on future events. “Karl was a lovely guy and respectful of my home, but probably a little tame for a booking of 14 girls . Also felt as though he should have come with some essentials to ensure games can be played out rather than relying on host to have props.”

Hi Sadie, Thank you for your review. We're glad Carl was pleasant and respectful, but we apologise for any shortcomings in your experience. We have spoken to Carl and he said he provided three games for about an hour of playtime, and we understand there was a game of 'beer pong' set up beforehand. We've discussed the prop situation with Carl, and he will be better prepared in the future. Your feedback is valuable, and we'll use it to improve. “Guys were friendly and good to look at but totally inexperienced at butlering. One was better than the other who had English as a second language and just stood there making no effort to circulate drinks canapés etc It was a disappointment and my daughter had to constantly instruct them to check people's glasses etc NOT GOOD one guest wanted red wine and Jezz bought rose and when asked said its red and was not happy to change it So all in all could have been a lot better and although very willing to have photos etc were not prepared to be butlers and to do what butlers do I think better suited to hen nights”

“Sam was fun and got involved with the night, he was very much the "cheeky" butler. However, he let himself down by discussing personal life with the guests and pointing out a number of times he wasn't paid enough. He arrived at 6.45pm and greeted guests a 7pm, perfect timing.”

“The company was easy to book through and pay. Our Butler was 20 minutes late, he did phone to let me know. And by the time he'd got ready it was 7.35 and we'd booked him from 7pm. We didn't get that time back. He suggested some games and I got him involved in the games I wanted to play with the group. He was very young and inexperienced when it came to serving/pouring drinks in a professional manner. I don't know if they get any training of this kind but it would be useful! He was entertaining and was a lovely lad but the service we received was disappointing”

Hi Amanda, We are sorry you weren't fully satisfied with our service. We were surprised to hear such feedback about Charley as he has worked for us for a while now and has gained lots of experience working at our events. We also wouldn't describe him as 'very young' as he is 27. With regards to the training, all our butlers do receive basic cocktail-making training, however, we don't advertise them as being professionally trained mixologists. Charley was held up in traffic which did mean he was 20 minutes late and we do apologise for this. As he was only working for 1.5 hours and wasn't able to make up the time at the end we will give you a partial refund to compensate for that and the funds should reach you within 2-3 working days. Once again we apologise that the service didn't live up to your expectations on this occasion.

“It started off really well and it was fun but a few people felt uncomfortable with some games that were played. He was quite grabby and lifted someone up and pushed people's heads down. It wasn't what I expected.”

We have spoken to him and he has appologised profusely, it was never his intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable during the games. “The guys were friendly and nice but didn’t have any ideas for games or activities. With other agencies I’ve used the Butlers have come in with lots of ideas and been really fun, these two just stood there a bit”

“The butlers were good at getting everyone going however they were a bit late and kept helping themselves to our alcohol. At times they were a tad unprofessional but overall had a good time.”

“My friends and I have used butler in the buff 8 times over the years for our hen do's and it has always been a brilliant fun edition. This time was slightly different, maybe a bit of a training issue with Freddie who was perhaps a little over familiar and drank too much. Although there wasn't a major issue as such, it just felt uncomfortable as we knew he had drank too much and fun was removed.”

“Our butler arrived promptly and was pleasant. He did serve us drinks, however we did have to ask him to top us up. By 10pm we were a little sick of the cheesy chat up lines and were quite glad he was going. The offer of 'Extras' for the sum £150.00 was not something we were insterested in.”

Hi Gemma, We are sorry you weren't completely satisfied with our service on this occasion. We take this very seriously and have zero tolerance with regards to our butlers offering 'extras' at our events. The butler you hired normally receives excellent five star reviews so we were very surprised to hear this feedback about him. We have spoken to the butler in question and made them aware of what has been said, we will also be closely monitoring their performance and If we hear about anything like this again we will have no option but to remove them for our books.

Hi Sally We apologise for your butler arriving later than planned and the inconvenience caused. We always instruct our butlers to arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure they have enough time to change into the outfit before they start the shift. We hope you can accept our appology and would also like to offer 15% off on a future booking with ourselves as a gesture of goodwill.

“The boys were fine I only wanted them to give my daughter her 21st birthday cake and get a few pictures so I can't comment on what they would do if here for an hour however the boys uniforms didn't match & one had flip flops one had trainers so not impressed with appearance also one was 6ft and one was tiny so I think they could have been paired better other than that they were fine .”
