“I have just completed my second order from Modern UPVC Windows. The first went well but one handle was crooked showing that care needs to be paid to quality control. The company does seem to be rather difficult to contact by phone as they don't show the number on the website (luckily I have it from an old receipt).”

“SECOND ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, FIRST ORDER WAS COMPLAINT FREE. THERE WAS A SLIGHT DELAY WITH THE ORDER, BUT WAS NOTIFIED WELL IN ADVANCED. ALL AROUND PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE AND PRODUCT RECEIVED.”

“Cannot offer the full 5 stars as yet, because we have not as yet received the windows. However, the website is clear and functional, the pricing competitive and the overall shopping experience has been low stress. Our one suggested improvement would be to make it clear in the shopping basket that obscured glass has been specified.”

“Quality product at a great price. Issue with wrong trims sent (double glazing trims don’t fit with triple glazing panels ), but new trims sent without question. Also new glazing panel replaced easily online when I broke one whilst installing, no drama and same great pricing. Overall, really happy with the look and most importantly draught free areas. Composite front door next……..”

“Their web site is so easy to use, the quality of the Windows is as good as any I have fitted. Because delivery is " in house" you have no fears regarding third parties damaging items, my only concern is response to email queries could improve .”

“As an internet-based business, first impressions of Modern UPVC Windows are determined by your website user's experience. As a site user, I am seeking, in essence, to 'design' a thermal element in compliance with Part L, to know how much it will cost and to have a visual indication/presentation of what it will look like. You therefore need to put yourself in my position and consider how your website can better support me in the attainment of my goals. For example, a summary of all pertinent information that may facilitate sign-off by a building control officer. In a nutshell, you need to determine what your users are seeking to do (e.g. design, cost, present, procure, fit and sign off a thermal element) and then develop your site such that it supports the user to attain their goals. If you have different categories of users and/or sets of goals, you may wish to consider tailoring your site to accord with the user's situation. Modern UPVC Windows may then become the first UPVC window manufacturer with a 'smart' user-focused website. One which may enable and support the user to increase their productivity in partnership with you!”
