About BUNAC:

Founded with mullets and a mission by students in the 60's, BUNAC has been running its legendary Summer Camp USA program since 1972. From coaching soccer to teaching crafts - it’s the chance to turn your passion into a paid job, impact the lives of children and young people, and spend the summer living in epic locations with the best 18-30s you’ve ever met. And because 5% of profits go to our Youth Access Scholarship Fund, you can travel happy knowing that BUNAC works for others too.

“Olivia was amazing from the start. I had problems with my application, and she was constantly helping me with it it, emailing back extremely quickly, and fixing the issues. Thanks to Olivia I got my dream place at my dream camp! Couldn’t recommend a better representative! So so helpful and kind.”

“I am currently here in Oz and having the best time. Experiencing new places everyday, Welcome to Travel have also been a fantastic help while I'm here. Coming to Oz has been one of the best things I've done - and I'm thinking about adding new Zealand and Asia to my travels too! Thank you for all your help in getting me here to Oz!”

“Cheap! The cheapest agency to use. However which such a low price there is no drop in service! Email and replied to within hours everything is clear and if you need help the call centre are all experienced and really helpful! I am looking do complete a Australia summer camp next year, I will 100% use BUNAC I won't even bother researching around!”

“Róisín was so incredibly helpful, lovely to talk to and really encouraging, just made me feel so welcome and talked to me about what everything I need to know and reassured me that I can call or email for additional questions and support. The email to sign up was sent straight after the call end, no waiting around!- top tier experience!!”

“Wouldnt bother with this company what so ever was sated on their website on a full refund yet are trying to deduct a deposit amount when i also paid in full. wouldnt of bothered with the company otherwise as they havent done anything to help nor has my application gone ahead, which comes under my consumer rights act. rude staff over the phone dont waste your time with them full stop. much better companies out there to deal with than BUNAC.”

As per our terms and conditions, all deposits are non-refundable payments and therefore this is why you have been advised one of the conditions to do with your payments. The reason your application has not gone any further is not due to the processing at BUNAC, it's due to the information provided flagging some issues with moving forward with getting you to the USA this summer. We also have zero tolerance for abuse towards our staff members here at BUNAC and therefore wish you luck with your next venture.

“I have found a Summer Camp placement in the US through the help of BUNAC, at first I was so lost & confused where to begin or start, BUNAC have been honestly the best company & help for me. They have helped me every step of the way & answered every question under the sun that I had! I couldn’t recommend them enough! The price was completely worth it & they replied to my emails & sent my forms in the mail so incredibly quick, it couldn’t have been a more smooth sailing process. The staff are so so kind & helpful!”
