About BUNAC:

Founded with mullets and a mission by students in the 60's, BUNAC has been running its legendary Summer Camp USA program since 1972. From coaching soccer to teaching crafts - it’s the chance to turn your passion into a paid job, impact the lives of children and young people, and spend the summer living in epic locations with the best 18-30s you’ve ever met. And because 5% of profits go to our Youth Access Scholarship Fund, you can travel happy knowing that BUNAC works for others too.

“I looked at many different companies before setting on BUNAC and I am so beyond happy I did!! I had originally heard about them on TikTok and was pretty sold hearing other peoples reviews but it's always important to do your research. This is my first time applying for the American summer camp program and Amy, Niall and Olivia have been so quick and helpful at responding to any and all of my queries. So far I have loved my experience with BUNAC and hope to go through them again for travel in the future.”

“BUNAC has been such a quick and easy process to sign up to camp. They’re are super helpful when you need advice and quick to respond to a query. I would definitely recommend to friends. Price for the summer camp was very reasonable. They have good police’s and are very reliable.”

“Thanks for all the help. The process has been relatively easy and smooth. I have now reached the ‘Ready to Go’ stage on my application so presumably I should be hearing from my camp coordinators within the next few weeks (?) - I hope so, anyway.”

“BUNAC was a really supportive and a very professional organisation to get the summer camp process going. They have an amazing pool of camps to choose from, and great support that respond fast and informatively. They have online events which can be very informative and helpful in the process for applying and getting hired for camps.”

“My experience with BUNCA wasn’t the smoothest. At the start of my journey with BUNCA I was very overwhelmed with the amount of camps to pick from so I contacted the customer service team and spoke to Olivia. I was told I was being negative and not considering all my options when I was contacted by a camp which i wasn’t 100% happy with taking on. Contacting through email and zoom call , I got told if I don’t take this opportunity It might be unlikely I will be placed with another camp , whereas I got placed at another camp the same day. I got told my first choice camp had rejected my interests however I contacted the camp directly and told me they haven’t seen my application and received an interview on their end. I also got told by Olivia this camp wasn’t hiring which is another reason why I contacted the camp directly and the camp director mentioned they had positions which I had nearly 4 years experience in. Overall I felt very upset and targeted by Olivia which made me feel very uneasy about the next steps. From then I never received an emails from her.”

He was always a email and phone call away. His patience, positivity and assistance was something that was consistent from beginning to end. I advise anyone who is planning on applying to do Camp America to apply through BUNAC, you will be in safe hands.”
