Founded with mullets and a mission by students in the 60's, BUNAC has been running its legendary Summer Camp USA program since 1972. From coaching soccer to teaching crafts - it’s the chance to turn your passion into a paid job, impact the lives of children and young people, and spend the summer living in epic locations with the best 18-30s you’ve ever met. And because 5% of profits go to our Youth Access Scholarship Fund, you can travel happy knowing that BUNAC works for others too.

“I booked with BUNAC NZ and arrived in September. I was so nervous about flying all the way from the UK alone to a country I have never been too before! Sharyn Hight has been an absolute superstar. Before I left, there were email updates keeping us in the loop and zoom calls. When I arrived , Sharyn was such a support in helping me open a bank account, tax number, finding jobs and anything else I needed help with. She is always happy to help and really approachable. BUNAC has really made my New Zealand trip run smoothly!”

“Sharyn Hight has been invaluable to me with supporting me with peak season summer staff on the Coromandel. I know I can put all my trust in Sharyn who works tirelessly to find me the right staff. We have employed this summer alone 8 staff through Sharyn to help run our extremely busy Motel. All staff have been the right fit who are eager, hardworking, pleasant staff. Without Sharyn I personally would be needing to search and reach out by advertising for staff. It is a long process but with Sharyn who has the contacts and does the hard work for me it is a given the employees she sends me will be ideal. I could not operate fully without the full help of Sharyn. Thank you so much!”

“I emailed BUNAC with some queries I had about which of their programs would best suit me for my trip to Canada. I was put through to Ed, who was both informative and friendly. He provided me with answers to all my queries making me feel more comfortable with my eventual choice of program. Huge thanks to the BUNAC Team! Would recommend talking to BUNAC for if your planning a working holiday!”

“Bunac has made the process so easy. From sorting the Visa's out to the little details such as the airport transfer. Myself and and Harriet have been communicating with many of the team. Ellie set up a meeting so we could get a proper idea of the process. Then any further questions have been answered by Ellisia Cartwright Copeland who has been excellent. I highly recommend Bunac helpful staff, really simple process and for the price it is well worth it. I look forward to my adventure in 2023”

“Excellent assistance with settling in and providing relevant information and advice regarding travelling the country and finding employment. Lachlan was very helpful and Sharyn was priceless; helping us so much with everything and was so kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to travel New Zealand.”
