“Very strange experience some items are reasonably priced some a complete RIP off.I did get quotes for every part though”

“BreakerLink got me in touch with several sources. However, the one purchased did not meet expectations. The wing mirror had been reconditioned, was poorly painted and did not sit in the correct position.”

Thank you for your comment. Here at BreakerLink we are a parts finder comparison service so we do not supply parts, hold stock or have a returns policy. All purchases are directly from our independent suppliers and they set out their own policies. As our members are independent companies, your purchase would have been directly through them and not through ourselves so we would recommend you contact the supplier direct to discuss the return options. “Well after 4 attempts I finally got my spare part first sed we got it but had not yes we can supply then could not find it third had it but failed to post it finally got it from Scotland hurry.”

“I asked for the parts to be delivered to a Garage. Instead the supplier delivered to a strangers house in the next village. What idiots!!!”

“I use this site a lot but unfortunately this purchase has issues. I bought an alloy wheel with a tyre still on from south west vauxhall breakers. Now, the tyre is just legal with it being a wee bit worn on outside of tyre. The alloy has issues with a little corrosion. It was bought as a spare so it will do but I expected better especially with the price I paid.”

“Service was good with plenty of replies from breakers with the part I needed. However not comfortable quoting payment card details over the phone. PayPal would have been much more reassuring. Also not keen on being phoned and pressured.”

Thank you for your review and feedback. Just to advise you so that you are aware for the future, payment options are chosen by each individual supplier so it would appear in this scenario the supplier you were looking to purchase from doesn't use Paypal. The majority of our suppliers do offer that option so if you do decide to use our service again in the future you may find other suppliers offering payment via Paypal. Regards BreakerLink

“Not happy with Tristar Recy. They offered part, took payment of £30 on 13/02/21, did not notify me that it was not now available and offered full refund of £30 - I AM STILL WAITING for refund, not impressed, will not use again. Mrs H Walker”

“Breaker link got the ball rolling for me and got the links that I needed but unfortunately I went with a company called a2z engine and gearboxes... Big mistake took my money Sent me a engine which was in a bad shape called them to say why I am not happy and want my money back as for their terms... But no luck... Not happy”

“To be very honest, it is very difficult to write a review, when my money was taken from my Credit Card 48 hours ago and I still have no shipping details of the part I purchased. When I do and have received it, then I can pass judgement.”

“Having problems getting lower door mouldings for my A4 advant 2000/2001 the models seem to cross over part sent was incorrect mouldings are black l am trying to buy both rear door and drivers door mouldings it appears without much luck many thanks for help given so far”

“HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PART YET THEY RANG TO SAY IT HAD A FRAYED WIRE THEY HAD ANOTHER ONE AND I GAVE THEM THE PART NUMBER THEY SAID IT MATCHED ANOTHER ONE THEY HAD ANDTHEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND IT ON”

“It is nice that you can get quotes within a day but it sucks that you have to reinstall your demand every time; it would be nice if photos of parts would be mandatory so the right parts will be given and stops to worey with returns. It would also be nice if you can reject an offer and then maybe they can provide a counter offer. Also when something does go wrong; it would be nice if BreakerLInk can step in and try to sort it out instead of dealing with supplier who may not want to cooperate.”

“HI TWO OF THE BREAKERS LISTED FROM BREAKERLINK TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD THE PART REQUIRED ONE OF WHICH TOOK PAYMENT THEN PHONED 5DAYS LATER TO SAY THEY COULD NOT SUPPLY NEITHER COULD THE OTHER " NOT GOOD AT ALL”

“Although BreakerLink performed well on this request, I have been very dissatisfied with the actions of the quote provider. Although the quote stated delivery included, after my payment was sent the quote provider responded that delivery was not included. I have been unable to get an explanation from them nor any indication that they have accepted the purchase.”
