“You always hope never to have to call however last week I broke down, mid journey, in the middle of France. The service I received from the call centre was fantastic. They arranged the recovery of the vehicle and then organised a hire car for the remainder of the journey. During the week they maintained regular communication to update me as to the progress of the fix of the vehicle and were vital in arranging the collection of the vehicle, paying for taxis and co-ordinating with the garage for me to collect the vehicle on a Saturday, when the garage is ordinarily closed. They followed up all this activity with a call later in the day to ensure the process went accordingly and to check upon my welfare. All in all an excellent service and one that I was extremely thankful for...thank you Axa!”

“Shortly after I joined Breakdown Assist, my car wouldn't start on my drive. I notified the help desk and an engineer arrived quite speedily and he was able within a minute to determine exactly what the problem was and explained how it probably happened. So a few minutes later with problem fixed, I was able to drive my car away.”
