“in the past I have been very satisfied with Boston seeds and have grown on some beautiful plants. This time however although my excellent dibber was delivered my plants were not, nor was it made clear when they would arrive under sperate packaging. I did find out from the web site that the Yellow Rattle plants would come in April although I did struggle to find this information.
As it is not yet April I do not know a) if they will arrive or b) what will their conditon be like.
I am unhappy with the uncertainty.”

We do apologise if this was not clear when ordering. We have added the delivery tags to each plug plant, and it also states on your confirmation email, which is received upon placing your order.
The plugs will be dispatched as soon as they are big enough to be sent, and will benefit from being planted straight into the ground and will soon turn into established plants. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have any further queries.
“Really pleased with the wildflower plugs I bought.
The only problem was the delivery by Royal Mail. Because I wasn't in on their first attempt, I was concerned about the health of the plants. I was in on the second attempt and followed the instructions immediately. So they are fine. They will be shared with a plot in my woods (already planted) my back garden and an experimental area at a local community centre as soon as the grounds people prepare the area 🙏🏽the plan is to make it more attractive to butterflies and as I took part in the Butterfly count last year I have some data to measure the numbers this year against.”

We dispatch plug plants all year round, and depending on the time of year, the plug plants may have very little to no leaf growth. This is completely normal, and you will find that they have a strong root base, which is the most important part.
We have tried to make this clear when ordering and have recently updated our website listings.
