“Good delivery on bulbs and seeds. Snowdrops excellent quality - 2nd order of those snakes head fritillary looked pretty u happy on arrival. Planted but not too confident about them. Haven't used grass seed yet. Ordered both garden and pasture so hoping for good result.”

“Very happy with the customer service and advice from Boston Seed. I bought the child’s play seed mix, recommend based on my lawn type, position, soil type etc and some spring fertiliser. It’s gone on last week so will be looking forward to seeing the results in a few weeks/months hopefully with a renewed lawn ready for the kids to play on all summer long.
Delivery was also really speedy and my items were packed super in a very robust waterproof bag to ensure all my items stayed in perfect condition. I have used this to store the left over seed so I ca use a bit later for patches if needed”

We dispatch plug plants all year round, and depending on the time of year, the plug plants may have very little to no leaf growth. This is completely normal, and you will find that they have a strong root base, which is the most important part.
We have tried to make this clear when ordering.
The plugs will benefit from being planted straight into the ground and will soon turn into established plants. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have any further queries.
