“Overall I have been pleased, However the last photo book I created I have just noticed that the front cover image does not quite go the the right hand edge of the cover. There is a white band of about 1/8th inch. This may have been my fault but I would have thought that your quality control would have picked this up and rectified the mistake?”

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to hear you've had an issue on your book cover. I've had a look and can see that the book was printed as per how we received the files. If you take a look at your book preview in the bookshop, you can see the white line is also there on the front cover. All print files arrive to us in a read only PDF, so we cannot make any changes to the design. Our quality control checks for errors in printing. Unfortunately, we are unable to make an adjustments for things such as spelling mistakes or adjust designs. If you would like to give our customer care team a ring on 0203 011 1644 we'd be happy to talk you through how to make sure you don't see the white lines on your cover in the future. “Love the quality and service. It would be great if there were more size availability from the phone app also it would be nice to be able to order the wall art on the phone app I’m very pleased with my photo books I have many.”

“Usually good product/service sadly absent. Product faulty with numerous printing errors and despite multiple photos of the errors being sent through customer service insist on book being returned before refund issued. Have returned book but this has not been acknowledged, nor has my email requesting they now print the book correctly.”

I am very sorry to hear there was an issue with your book. It was not a typical error which is why the lab requested to see the book. Please note that we haven't yet received your returned book as of this morning, but are keeping an eye out for it. As the print files for the book came through corrupted, we cannot reprint the book without the same issue happening. “This is our second book produced by Bob Books and we can genuinely say the quality is excellent. Image reproduction is of a high professional standard and if one uses the option of photographic paper the results really do justice to one's original work (our first book was just using the classic paper choice but still successful nevertheless). The actual construction of the product in terms of binding, sturdyness and durability, plus the cover finish all lend the book the appearance of a publication that one could easily have thought was bought from a commercial store. Our decision to have our work reproduced via Bob Books was twofold: first it is an economic way to see a number of physical prints grouped as a collection; also it can act as a handy portfolio to display what we do. Having a website is all well and good but ultimately a photograph needs to be fully appreciated as an object rather than just something ethereal on a screen.”
