“The online book creator would not work for me on my two browser options but I persevered as I had used Bob Books for a previous book and was impressed with the lay flat pages and quality. I ended up using the downloaded Bob Designer software and found it very easy to use. The clipart wasn't as impressive for the travel section as the online software last time but like all the page formats and ease of use and received a lovely book to gift to my daughter.”

“I've used Bob Books to create calendars for several years now and also to produce a photo book. I am really pleased with the quality of the materials that they use and particularly with the colour reproduction of my images which is excellent. My orders have always arrived promptly and when there was a problem with one order it as resolved efficiently. I have not hesitation in recommending them!”

“Very easy to set up and amazing delivery time. My only minor complaint is that some of the black and white images printed with a slight blue hue. It's a minor quibble, other than that outstanding!”

Hi Chris, Thanks for the review. Unfortunately, as the books go through a colour print process, you do tend to get a bit of a colour cast on black and white images sometimes. This tends to be reduced if you opt for one of the photographic paper books. Also the Matte paper is quite good with b&w too. I hope this is helpful. Kind regards, Bob Books

“We order a photo book every year as our family photo album. The whole family treasure them. The quality is always excellent and the software easy to use. I enter the photos manually rather than using the automatic settings so I get everything exactly where I want it. I have ordered the hardback classic paper version and the photographic paper options, both are very good.”

“I get the lay-flat matte photographic books and they're very good quality, sharp images, good page turn and the matte finish is very nice. My only gripe is that they tend to come up a little darker than other prints of the same images, so I recommend bumping the exposure slightly before creating the album.”

“Love this company, read about them on a review site and switched to them last year after previously using apple photo books for many years. Have now made at least 20 orders with them and been very pleased with the lie flat books. The bob books pricing is much better than apple's prices. The strength of bob books is in the ability to customize the photo size etc with the brilliant software. A lot of other photo book programs are very rigid in what you can do and have very cutesy clipart and themes which over ride the photos you are trying to show off. I have digitised my whole collection now and will use bob books to ensure these photos are not lost forever.”

“Overall I have been pleased, However the last photo book I created I have just noticed that the front cover image does not quite go the the right hand edge of the cover. There is a white band of about 1/8th inch. This may have been my fault but I would have thought that your quality control would have picked this up and rectified the mistake?”

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to hear you've had an issue on your book cover. I've had a look and can see that the book was printed as per how we received the files. If you take a look at your book preview in the bookshop, you can see the white line is also there on the front cover. All print files arrive to us in a read only PDF, so we cannot make any changes to the design. Our quality control checks for errors in printing. Unfortunately, we are unable to make an adjustments for things such as spelling mistakes or adjust designs. If you would like to give our customer care team a ring on 0203 011 1644 we'd be happy to talk you through how to make sure you don't see the white lines on your cover in the future. “Love the quality and service. It would be great if there were more size availability from the phone app also it would be nice to be able to order the wall art on the phone app I’m very pleased with my photo books I have many.”
