“I have been using bobs books for several years. The software allows for a much better creative experience with way more choice and is much better for making large books with 100+ photos. They are more expensive than the other companies but it is worth it”

“We have been using Bobbooks since seeing them at a travel show around 2006 and always make a book to record our holidays, children's weddings and now the first years of our grandchildren. The software is so versatile and has improved over the years in almost every respect. They are also excellent quality and the books take up far less bookshelf space than a traditional album. We like the way you can overlay and rotate pictures, add text boxes anywhere and ensure that photos will print well, as well as the quality of the books themselves. We now have 36 books in various sizes and both hard and soft back. We have recommended successfully to friends and they particularly like the photo quality paper books that open flat, and are equally committed to Bobbooks.”

“We've now done about 8 or 9 Bob Books of holidays, and it's the ideal alternative to a photo album when you have a lot of digital photos. The software is quite instinctive to use, and the whole experience is a good value/print quality/usability balance.”

“I needed help with uploading photos which seems to change each time I do it but did not find the help call helpful at all and in fact it ended without helping me at all. In spite of difficulties I can't find a better way to make photo books so will keep using Bob Books.”

“Photo books always look impressive. Slight problem this time in that the photos did not look quite as good as on the screen. Raised with Customer Service who said that auto optimisation was not set on each photo, but offered to reprint it free after I changed the settings. Second attempt looked very good. However it looks like the program does not default to auto optimisation for photos this has to be done per photo or in the master settings, and the picture on screen does not look any different whether the optimisation is on or off. But customer service excellent thanks for reprinting it.”

“I recently completed my fourteenth A4 or larger Bob book (have also done a few smaller ones), and have at least another five in the pipeline. This latest one was 'Venice'. As usual, the overall quality, finish and colour rendering were excellent, and the print quality was good, but a little dark in places. I chose the expensive gloss finish; I have used this a few times before, and had some small issues with dark areas then. I have also used the 'Classic' paper, the matte finish and the 'lay-flat' photographic paper. I now think that, while all the results are good, the Classic and the lay-flat give the best over-all results. From now on, I will use lay-flat where pages are not an issue, and Classic where I want as many pages as possible. In any case, I have always found Bob Books great people to work with, courteous, helpful and responsive, and will continue to use the Bob Books application for my albums and calendars (which have also always been first class!). We now regard the post-holiday 'Bob Book' as the best souvenir!”

“I now turn our every holiday adventure into a book using Bob's Books, which is easy to use, has lots of layout options and a very quick turnaround so that we soon have a lovely record of out trip in a format which is easy to show to family and friends. For two recent family weddings I opted for the glossy, heavy page format which looked very classy and filled the long gap between the weddings and sight of the official album.”
