“FIrstly......WHAT A FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!!!!! I have only used Bobs books for the first time and I would not hesitate in using them again (which I am going to do later today) but I would not hesitate recommending them to friends and family! Being the first time user, I made some mistakes and Gine at Customer services dealt with my queries, quickly, clearly and professionally! She really is a credit to Bob's books. “The quality of the product was excellent, and the delivery was prompt. I found the desktop application to be very capable, but slightly cumbersome, especially when customising the layout. It would be nice if the web layout tool supported more formats.”

“The software used to produce a photobook has now reached a very high standard. It makes the input of photographs easy and the design of the photobook almost professional. The quality of the overall book is also up to a very high standard. In my experience each photobook seems to get better and better. However I have reservations about the courier delivery service. They seem to have very strict rules as to who can accept delivery of the photobook. What was wrong with the Post Office?”

“I started using Bob Books on the demise of Kodak Gallery. I began by using the photo lustre books and, with both ease of use of the site (I'm "old school dinosaur"), careful packaging and the quality and professionalism of the books I could not be happier. I noticed I lost some detail in the shadows on the lustre and, being a perfectionist, I was still printing some of the best for my personal portfolio work. I then decided to try the photo gloss. All I can say is WOW.....I am over the moon. I still lighten the shadows a bit but the books and printing are nothing short of amazing. Although I will print the medium format to large prints for my portfolio the photo gloss books has replaced printing from digital. Love the site, Love the books.”

“I've now ordered two photo books from different companies and although both were very good, Bob Books definitely had the edge regarding paper type and weight. My glossy hardback book has very solid weighty paper, and the colour reproduction was excellent. I'm looking forward to making another book with the company having learnt from my experiences with the first one. My only reservation about the process was caused by a query I had with some of the Terms and Conditions which arose when using the downloaded software, but that I could not find duplicated on the Bob Books website, not even amongst their pages and pages of T&C. A greater explanation for some of these T&C might be useful. But all in all it was an excellent process and the outcome very pleasing. (Oh, and it came on time and very well packaged too)”

“I have had three books printed and have been very pleased with the results. A mistake was made on one of the books and Bob Books quickly replaced it. Books are very good quality - I had hard backs - and the colours were great. It's a bit fiddly to start with but gets better with practice. Photos are easy to put on and there is a preview so that mistakes can be checked and rectified. I would definitely recommend Bob Books.”

“I am using Bob Books since many years and we have so far published 9 books - most of them large volumes. The software has improved tremendously over the years and we it is very easy to use. The published books are of very high quality and colours have never disappointed us. The paper quality, binding and covers are holding well - and we look at the books very often! Friends have commented on our books as being "museum quality". Delivery is quick even before Christmas and you can always rely on a quick response if you need advice during the editing process. If you want high quality photo books, do not hesitate to use Bob Books - this is value for money. My wish list for future software updates: improvements on integrating text with the images”

“I'm a graphic designer so spent a lot of time researching alternatives before deciding on Bobs Books. I liked the variety of products and being able to order a sample of the paper was right up my street. I used the iPad app and found it really easy to use. My only quibble would be that I found I had to alter my layout to fit the templates as they only worked in double page spreads. There was a couple of occasions where another 'right hand page' would have worked better. However, this could have been avoided if I'd chosen to design using one of the other formats so I know I am being really picky. I am over the moon with the finished product - it's professional looking, high quality and the print quality is superb. It arrived quickly and the service was great. I will definitely be using Bobs Books again and have recommended them to all my friends, including those in the design industry. Thank You!”

“I have used other photobook producers and have generally been happy with them, however having used Bobs books now for a couple of books I have to say I much prefer them. I used 'Bob designer' to create the books which I found straightforward to use and reasonably flexible in terms of the effects / backgrounds etc it provides. The main advantages for Bob's books in my mind are: 1. The amazing binding which allows double page spreads to be used with no obvious 'crease' down the centre. 2. The quality of the finished book (mine was lustre photographic hardback) was outstanding. 3. The purchasing and delivery process went without a hitch and the books came well packaged / protected. Altogether I intend to use Bob Books in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.”

“Bob books offers a great service! I've printed 2 albums with them and the result is outstanding. The paper is great (gloss coated), the editor to create the album is great, easy to use and it leaves to you many choices! I gave a 9 and not a 10 because the editor cannot zoom OUT the pictures, and you should resize them by yourself that is a waste of time and the shipping is very slow. For all the other things Bob Books is great! I'm just making another album with them.”
