“Firstly, lets cover the application; I had a couple of gripes: 1) Dragging an image around vs. swapping it with a nearby image: the application guesses the wrong one a lot causing frustration 2) I had a defect where there was a 1px like on one of the "full cover" templates, which sadly made its way into the final print also I ordered the matte paper hardbook. The paper is a nice, thick quality and I was pleased with the print quality of my photos. The only niggle I had was the text on the spine was not quite straight. I was impressed with the packaging and was grateful that you cover all 4 corners with foam to prevent damage. The speed of dispatch was also surprisingly faster than I expected based on what the site tells you - so more brownie points there.”

“Why send me a calender with no writing on it ? .. then give me a discount voucher for a free reprint but then still charge me ! .. still waiting for a refund .. totally crap service !!!”

Hi Neil, Sorry that you experienced problems with your calendar, black text on a black background would be difficult to read. I believe you have been issued with a voucher to help you re-order your calendar and a full refund was issued as you had problems entering this in at checkout. “Bob's Books is a really easy way to create your own masterpiece! I have used them for several years to create an annual calendar for my family using photographs from recent holidays. The format is easy to use and very flexible with a wide range of options. The turn round time, from sending in the project to receiving the 'hard copies', is outstandingly quick - even at very busy times such as just before Christmas! It is also very good value - highly recommended.”

“Great company. I was happy with the book and the delivery. In fact, the book didn´t arrive and when I contacted Bob Books to ask what had happened, a new one was immediately despatched to me. Great service. I have no complaints at all about this company and would happily recommend them.”

“I have created quite a few albums using Bob Books, and the production has always been superb. The app is very easy to use, the results are exactly as you expect, and, so long as you don't try faffing about with the colours on your screen, the picture reproduction is terrific. Their customer interface is also great. Whenever I have had any sort of query, they have been most helpful. I have tried other album software in the past but don't bother now as Bob Books does everything I want. I currently have six more albums in the pipeline and have no worries at all about the production side - I am confident they will be as good as I can make them!”

“I produced a hard cover photo book on photographic paper. This was the first time I'd used the Bob Books app after using the desktop version of the software 3 or 4 times before. I've always been pleased with the end product and the speed of processing and delivery. I found the app had several advantages - much easier to put the book together picking up photos from my ipad and far quicker upload of photos when I ordered the end product. The compromise was the limited number of page templates and background colours (only black and white) and restraints on front cover editing (couldn't move title text and no text on book spine). Hopefully there will be upgrades to the app over time. On balance will definitely use the Bob Books app again.”

“I've been really impressed with the quality of the books I've ordered from bob books and also the speed of service. The book designer was intuitive and easy to use and my albums look professional. It would be great if Bob books offered the option to buy a case or box for those special albums but that's just a small point. I will definitely be ordering more from Bob books!”

“I had a 50 pages book of B/W photo printed, when it arrived I was totally gobsmacked by the quality of the whole book,If your thinking of having a book printed in B/W just make shower your shadows are not to dark,I tend to print a little on the dark side so my shadows where a little darker then l liked my fault not there's because they bring the blacks to a true quality B/W photo.You will not be disappointed with the quality of Bobs Books,I'm getting more photos together to do another books.”

“I'm not particularly computer literate but I found the Bob Books website was easy to navigate when compiling a photobook. On encountering a problem, through my own making, contact with the support team was quick and extremely helpful. The finished product arrived promptly, was of excellent finish and was very much appreciated by its recipient.”

“I have now done 4 books and have been extremely pleased with the result of the finished articles. Once I had a problem that the lady in your office could not solve for me. She assured me that she would pass my query on to another department and they would get back to me with an answer. Sure enough, I received an email that advised me how to overcome my query and it worked perfectly. Thank you. I will continue to use Bob books in the future.”

“Already had six books published on local history working on my seventh. The photographs look more professional in a book whatever subject. With Bobs books you have so many options for your outlays and when you do it the way you want it you feel more appreciative, if you choose colour or black and white the results are excellent. “I have had 6 photo books printed and in the throws of finishing No; 7, each book has been of very high quality, with excellent colour reproduction. Yes, there are cheaper photo books out there, but the service & quality is know where as good as Bobs Books..... Highly recommended.”

“Bob books are the best photobook service out there. The quality of the paper, ink, binding and finishing is second to none. The ease of use for layout and uploading your book are brilliant, the extremely high level of service, quick turnaround and delivery options worldwide are fantastic and then all the add on services, like widgets for embedding in websites and so on really are over and above what you would expect. A fantastic company from start to finish and then some! I would never use anyone else for my photobooks. Cannot recommend highly enough.”
