“I was extremely pleased with the quality of the book ,the images were of a very good standard which was the main objective I was trying to achieve. This was my first attempt at trying to put something like this together and found the entire process from downloading the software to construction of the final book very achievable and straightforward to complete. The staff members were also very helpful when I initially contacted them to determine the possibility of producing a great final result. I will definitely promote bobs books as a great company for photographers to work with when a very personal photo album is required.”

“The quality of the print was very good - and the downloadable tool to modify the layout was extremely easy to use and had a number of useful features. Bobs books were a little pricier than some of the competition, but I had read other reviews that the actual print quality was higher, and I was not disappointed. We found a discount code on their website to compensate for the extra cost, which I recommend looking for (signing up to newsletter does also sends a discount I think) The books were delivered earlier than I expected and the packaging was robust to ensure that the corners of the booked were not damaged in transit. I would definitely use bobs books again.”

“Software very easy to use- and I’m not that good with computers. I was so so impressed with the quality of the photos and paper they were printed on. It’s made a memorable book. It’s not cheap but it is worth it.”

“I repeatedly asked for an ICC profile to which I could soft proof my images before sending them. I got nothing. The resultant book was mostly excellent and accurate but, as expected, one or two images with strong reds/oranges - out of gamut colours obviously - came out pretty wrong. They should definitely provide an ICC profile for those who ask for one at least.”

Dear Philip, I’m sorry that you were not completely happy with some of the images in your book. I have checked this with my colleague and they have confirm that they had sent you the standard colour profiles. We tried to get more information but our colleague who would have been able to help was on long term sick leave and unfortunately the specific printer calibrations settings are something that we cannot disclose. We did suggest that you give your book a go and that if you were unhappy we would refund you. “Such good quality!! I have ordered a few photo books in the past from well known photo book suppliers and was never really impressed with them. I did a lot of research and Bob Books kept coming up so thought I’d give it a try and I was not disappointed. Was a little pricier than I was used to but it was so easy to make online and the finished product says it all, I would happily pay the price for such good quality. Will definitely be using again!”

“Beautiful books, easy to use software, amazing customer service. Swift delivery. Real people on the end of the telephone after just a couple of rings with pertinent advice and help. I am constantly recommending Bob Books to friends. When people see my finished books they always say they are much better quality than other companies. I have also ordered greeting cards and they are beautiful too.”

“I was really pleased with the photo book. Staff were really helpful when I rang and once I got the hang of it, it was time consuming but easy to do! The quality was great and they were even delivered before the due date!! Top marks to Bobs Books!!”

“Excellent final product though not cheap; book is beautifully made with quite thick paper. However, software not always completely intuitive and loading and displaying images for use is a real pain, particularly if a large quantity is required. This slows loading greatly and means only a few are visible at any one time. Equal spacing if not using templates can also be tricky.”

“I’ve put together 8 or so books for family members for birthday/Christmas gifts as a way of storing memories. Everyone has been delighted to receive their books which they have enjoyed looking at again and again. Excellent service & quality every time. In fact, I’m just about to do another!”

“Bobs Books software is easy to use and allows for a wide range of page formats, with or without text. There is also a wide range of finishes for page surfaces, binding and book cover. I often use the lay flat binding allowing a two page panoramic photo with animal or landscape pictures with barely a line at the centre. I’ve used them for wedding photos, safari photos and city photos. Very pleased with every book. I reported a glitch on one page and the book was immediately replaced. Excellent service.”

“I chose the gloss lay-flat product and was really pleased with the results. Some of my photographs looked a little grainy in preview but printed just fine. Time from submitting to delivery was impressively quick - I will use Bob Books again and would recommend to others.”
