“We did lots of research before selecting Bob books for our son”s 21st birthday book. We spent around 40 hours creating over 90 pages. The chat line seemed helpful EXCEPT we were told our book would be delivered before the Christmas shutdown if we submitted it before 18/12/18, which we did. Christmas came and went. We spent many hours chasing our son’s birthday present but received evasive info. Book arrived in January. So very disappointed! Quality of the book is ok. It did arrive with a scratch on the cover. We spent almost £200. My advice is use another company!!! To add insult to injury the next day delivery took 2 days!!! It’s been a real challenge using Bob Books.”

Hello, I am so sorry that your book did not make it in time for Christmas. I’ve discussed this with our head of customer care and she explained that unfortunately Kate, who you were chatting with, didn’t realise you were ordering one of the large books which had the cut off date of the 15th instead of 18th of December. They did try to rush the order through for you but were not successful. For this reason, we offered you an additional 20% off discount on top of the one that had been used on your order. Regarding the delivery, unfortunately the delivery van had broken down and was unable to deliver your book the next day. which is why it took 2 days to arrive. Once again, we are really sorry that you are disappointed and did not receive your order on time. “Great quality calendars but had some problems in that I couldn't save the work in progress on my PC and then when I came to check out some of the "next" buttons were not shown on my screen. Hopefully these software issues can be resolved because the product is superb.”

“The book was beautifully produced and I'm sure that the only shortcomings were mine, in the sense of my limited skills with the (very user friendly) software. The whole experience of producing a book would be enhanced if there could be a proof copy (on paper) for any final adjustments before the final printing. Obviously, this would have to cost something, but maybe just the cost of paper and postage (no hard cover etc.) I found the images were printed slightly too dark and also there was one mistake in the layout which I had overlooked. Other than that, brilliant!”

“Love BB - have used them for all my photography projects. The prices are on the high side, so i do make use of the vouchers. Otherwise it would probably become too expensive. However always really happy with final product and love the interface.”

“Product is nice and the printing quality is good but took over a week to arrive from receiving an email saying they had been dispatched and would be with me ‘in a few days’. I was really worried so I called customer service and they said they said that email when it goes to a third party courier and that then it’s down to them when it comes. Frustrating as they were a gift....think I waited 2 weeks in all.”

“Love the quality of the matt finish in the photo books. Amazingly fast turn around. Inceadilby easy process using the online book making tool. Very stastified with the whole experience and the end product is fantastic.”

“I ordered a calendar having previously used Apple which were very high quality. Bob Books had far more options then any other app I found. I received the calendars very promptly but they had a faint blue line a couple of inches on from the left of every photo. This was sorted out quickly and painlessly and I received perfect replacements without any fuss. Good job.”

“The app used to create a book is very intuitive with numerous design features. I have used Bob Books several times before but on this occasion confess to being disappointed. I ordered 2 separate books in December. The first featuring people over a period of time was fine. The second which featured landscapes was poor. The contrast was low and the photographs lacked colour vibrancy.”

“I chose the online method of making my first book and although it was a little clunky, I had a problem which is a major flaw in the online process. If you drag over even 1 too many photos to the topline holding area, the book building program will not allow you to delete or remove that one photo from the top line, worse still it will leave a blank page in the middle of the book. The help team were not really helpful with this and could only offer the solution of starting from scratch and renaming your book. I got round this problem by stretching the adjoining photo across the blank page, fortunately for me the adjoining photo was suitable. I won't be using the online method again.”

“Have used Bobs Books on a number of occasions, have been happy up to now. However, latest travel album came back with washed out photos, not reflecting to vibrancy of the original photos used, possibly due to running low on blue ink during the printing process. 4 images, including the front cover, were corrupted, 3 of which in one block were stretched! Not impressed this time, awaiting a response from Bob Books.”

“The Books were really good quality. Well received. The 1st book was to amalgamate old family photos, covering 5 generations! It was a chance to record the memories & stories the photos generated. Now the 3rd, 4th & 5th generation have learnt where the family come from. Although now I definitely need to do another book & expand on the 1st. The second book recorded Dads 2 Armstrong Siddeley cars. Bringing their stories together. He loved it & the fact the information is recorded for posterity! Thank You Bobs Books :-)”
