“Fairly easy to use app. Would like more choice of colours for covers and also the option to add only one page at a time instead of four. The quality of the paper is lovely whether matt or gloss and I have been very pleased with all the books I’ve made so far. I needed to access some help at one point and it was polite, prompt and worked.”

“Really pleased with the books. Easy to order, great print quality, well packaged and safely delivered. Adding the Bob Books barcode onto back cover is the only thing that disappointed with the final books.”

“Very easy to use. Lots of options for page design, fonts, colours etc. Good quality - although, as you'd expect, I think the quality is better with the more expensive paper.”

“Found the making on the book so very simple. The only thing that would be handy is if you could export it in draft format so customers (I am a photographer) could review the book before I purchase I however saying that the price and the quality make the extra effort I had to make worth it. Thank you”

“Lovely book and easy to use software. Lots of freedom for someone who might want to tweak page layouts. Alternatively you could just use the designs already there- so as much or as little input from you as you want. Despatch was prompt but then delivery took a long time- perhaps that’s the post’s fault though. Slight bit disappointed with how the front cover is printed on a wrap around sticky back plastic type thing rather than directly on the hardback that had added a fair percentage to the cost.”

“Great service, very pleased with finished book. Improvement suggestion an undo button on software package would help with custom book building. However, the whole service was very good. Thankyou my granddaughter is delighted with her book and so are ber family.”

“I produced my book on line. I found the program easy to use and I ended with a book that I was very happy with. My finished book came within the week. Being able to see other people’s books gave some great ideas for next time. Well done Bob Books.”

“I had used another company for past photo books but decided to use Bobs Books this time. Found it a lot easier to upload / select photos from my computer and there seemed to be more options on selecting how to arrange the photographs. I was really pleased with the result and will definitely be using Bobs Books in the future”

“Reasonably easy to navigate the process of creating the book. Decent quality book with good photo reproduction. Delivery and packaging spot on. Silly expensive though and there’s no way we would have bought one if it hadn’t been for a generous voucher we received as a wedding present - and even then it only covered a third of the cost!! I’d have loved to have ordered a copy for each of our parents but the cost is completely off the wall. If it’s for something special I’d recommend this company for a good quality of product and packaging. The delivery cost was additional to the book but was spot on.”

“First order from Bob books. My main concern was photo quality, I did not want grainy images. I had not needed to be concerned. Image / photo quality is excellent. The book layout just as seen on pc. Only reason i have not given a 5 star rating would be the price, but thats probably just me - i'm a bit stingy.”

“Bob Books are in excellent quality with one exception - sometimes there are white dots on some of the pictures. Fix that antd I dont have any complaints. Custommer care is perfect.”

“Very easy to set up and amazing delivery time. My only minor complaint is that some of the black and white images printed with a slight blue hue. It's a minor quibble, other than that outstanding!”

Hi Chris, Thanks for the review. Unfortunately, as the books go through a colour print process, you do tend to get a bit of a colour cast on black and white images sometimes. This tends to be reduced if you opt for one of the photographic paper books. Also the Matte paper is quite good with b&w too. I hope this is helpful. Kind regards, Bob Books

“I get the lay-flat matte photographic books and they're very good quality, sharp images, good page turn and the matte finish is very nice. My only gripe is that they tend to come up a little darker than other prints of the same images, so I recommend bumping the exposure slightly before creating the album.”
