“Not sure if quality of furniture yet but how it was delivered was aweful, I ordered 12 items and they got separated into 3 different deliveries, 3 different delivery drivers unbelievable and they delivered earlier than it said and I wasn’t in to receive it.”

Good Afternoon Kate, Thank you for your feedback, Due to the size and weight differences of the items you have purchased, these have shipped with different couriers as some of these items exceed their dimensions, this is also so we can keep costs as low as possible for our customers, while we appreciate this may cause some inconvenience for yourself, we hope you understand. The items you have purchased have also been dispatched from different warehouses which has resulted in these being delivered with different couriers too, these can arrive into the delivery network at different times causing the deliveries to be split, we do apologise for this. “Drawers are very stiff when trying to open. Not bad for the price but when you try to open the drawers the whole chest of drawers moves out too”

“Table is ok, relatively easy to assemble, not great quality but you get what you pay for. Main problem was that the currier left it outside my house whilst I was out (on a main road).”

“I love this ladder shelf. The problem i had was 1 x shelf support for shelf 2 was split so had to use glue to seal it. Shame it didn't have screw covers. It was easy to assemble.”

“The Lincoln Bench with 3 Wicker Baskets was certainly not worth the money, the furniture is a lot lighter in weight than I expected but also it is of poor quality. The baskets do not slide in and out with ease. The Willow Set of 2 Storage Baskets, both are of reasonable quality, it serves the purpose I have bought them for”

“Delivery made on appointed day. However there is some damage to the contents of the box which had been ripped open. Waiting for response from BFW re claim Have spoken to BFW since 18th July. BFW offered 10% refund (£9.90) for a damaged product. We rejected this and asked for the product to be collected and a full refund, we offerd to respray the product if the paint cost was refunded. Decline by BFW BFW have collected the item via courier but no refund as yet? Have no recieved an 'E' Mail from BFW sgtating we have not replied to BFW. Apppears the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing?”

“Ladder shelf arrived in good time but unfortunately we just unpacked it to discover damage. Very disappointing. The shelf has a fairly big chip out of it.”

“Tables were of expected quality, however I did not expect to order 4, that were delivered together, and have to pay £9.99 each ! Not impressed.”

“Furniture came panels damaged, holes missing. The damaged parts on the wardrobe parts were seen before building but I had booked a handyman to build these as I live on my own with my young baby, so I was having to pay him either way so he built them in the hope the damaged parts would be hidden. They weren’t, so I then wrote to say the were damaged. The holes in the chest of drawers were only noticed missing when coming to the end of building the drawers. It’s the very last parts. So was offered replacement panels on the wardrobe, how was going to fit these without another expense of a handyman ?? So I declined. They then said to dismantle and return. No mention of the chest of drawers again and yet another expense for me hiring someone to dismantle. They then offered 10% off which is £29.99 off 299.99 paid ? No thnaks. I asked for £100 and said I would keep furniture. They then came back with offer of 20% and said that was the highest they could go. Took it and will have to resign to the fact that k have dodgy furniture. Pathetic customer service really. But what can I do. Just not use them again.”

“I ordered this item, it arrived quickly, but putting it together there are splits in the wood, and no small little white covers for the screws so you can see them. I did not send it back as for the price I accepted it as it was.”

“It was good but some of nuts were missing and assembling was relatively not user friendly rather the bottom stop broke out, resulting in tilted balance of rack outward, but if I hold it I can use rack. But overall good value for money as compared to ikea which has highly poor customer service despite proving design fault in their product.”

“Average quality for money The pieces arrived dirty and appeared badly painted but this wasn’t so noticeable after construction. The construction is relatively forward for anyone with experience in flat-packed furniture. However, the diagrams themselves lack clear lines instructing the exact hole that a specific screw etc fits into. Should this be corrected the diagrams would be easy to follow. As it is, you’ll have to examine the size of holes and count the number of fittings to correctly assess which hole the diagram is referring to. Bottom line: you get what you pay for, not for the inexperienced or those with poor eyesight.”

“1 unit was damaged, The 6 cube storage unit, and 8 canvas baskets are great but the staircase 6 cube unit was damaged in 2 corners, 1 panel was dirty, which wouldn’t clean, I had to paint, shame because lovely units.”

“Furniture is lovely and instructions are ok however box had a big hole in it. When opened two giant spiders crawled out! Really should check packaging before distribution! Also emailing tracking number without the courier is really unhelpful. Delivered to neighbour with no notification of where the parcel was. Really happy with the sideboard though just not the extra travelling companions 🕷🕷”

“The item that arrived was faulty, very poorly made which meant could not be assembled as per instructions. Brackets did not line up with holes and so couldn’t actually go together. Wonder if I received a returned item as hinges had already been put on. Although not happy with the item, the Customer service has been brilliant, I received a quick response and after providing further evidence of issue, they have advised of options to resolve this issue. I suspect I was just unlucky on this occasion in receiving a faulty item.”
