“I purchased a pair of Clark's shoes from Begg Shoeshop Peterhead. I selected a pair in my normal size but realised when I tried them on at home they were somewhat loose. On returning them to the store I was advised that a similar pair a half size smaller was produced but unfortunately not in stock at Peterhead. The assistant said "Not to worry we will have the smaller size delivered to your door in the next 2/3 days" This is what happened, an excellent service.”

“It took 2 weeks for the boots to arrive. This was partly due to the time it took to get to the Scottish sorting office and the postal strike. The much-needed boots arrive in the nick of time, the day before I was due to go to a cold country! The boots themselves are great! Comfortable and well-fitting. The last pair of these boots lasted me 7 years.”

“The service from beggs shoes was highly professional & although my order took much longer than I was initially told it would take, I couldn’t personally blame Beggs .. There was a postal strike! I was however, very disappointed to find on visiting a Beggs store a few days after receiving my order that the said boots were reduced by £10.. I will definitely visit the shop before buying online in future”

“I purchased 3 pairs of boots. Unfortunately, particularly because I really liked one pair, they were too narrow & I had to return them. They went back in 2 parcels & one failed to arrive. I presented the proof of postage & Beggs took the matter up with the Royal Mail & refunded my money. I am very impressed & will be looking for some Begg products that I can buy.”

It's not your fault for the product to not arrive to me as the postal in EU lost it on the way, but the quick replies, constant updates and fast solution to a problem provided proof that you care about the customer. “Ordered these trainers through our local shop. They took a little longer to arrive than anticipated but there was no rush. The service is much appreciated, the staff are always friendly and helpful, as are the after-sales communications. Very happy customer. Update: Order No.2 hasn't gone so well. Another pair of Vans, ordered to match an outfit for the High School's fancy Xmas party, still hadn't turned up in time 11 days after ordering. The postal strikes are an issue, I know, but I have ordered other items online since then and they've arrived. The shop staff were real nice though, they knew when/what I needed them for and were poised to call as soon as they turned up. (End result: the Additional Needs child didn't go to the party 😣 and I've deducted a star)”

“I am a returning customer. I live in Thailand. This time Begg Shoes refused to ship to Thailand. I tried using a parcel forwarder in the UK. The shoes arrived Thailand in a week but the forwarder mailing cost to Thailand cost more than the shoes.”
