Was given a £100 voucher as a birthday gift. Unfortunately these came as 2 vouchers. Normally this would not have made any difference but with Begg shoes it does. Beware, you can only use one gift voucher at a time. This was very disappointing and frankly quite ridiculous. It means that I have to make 2 purchases rather than 1. When I called to check if this was correct, the assistant was unhelpful- wouldn’t recommend

You’re right - our policy currently allows one gift voucher to be used per order, which can be frustrating when two were issued. My new Rieker boots were ordered on Friday and delivered on Monday, from one end of the country to the other, amazing service. Lovely quality footwear with comfort assured. My old Riekers are still serviceable after 8 years so they can gracefully retire. Begg Shoes are an outstanding company. Thank you for the note Pauline, a lovely touch.

One of the shoes smelled like someone had sprayed perfume in it so had to return them and then there were no more in stock in my size. Surprised someone would post them out like that.

Probably not your fault but needs to be said that the only mail company I'm having problem with these days are royal mail. They are entirely useless. I'd switch delivery companies if you want to maintain any standards. 2 weeks it was in transit before finally saying item lost. Try harder

Paid £8 for next day delivery before 1pm. They arrived 4 days later while I was on holiday without them! complete waste of time and money. I wrote to them immediatley and received no reply!.

Your order was placed during a bank holiday weekend, which meant Royal Mail couldn’t collect parcels on the Monday. As a result, your order was dispatched on Tuesday and delivery was attempted on Wednesday, in line with their service timescales. I found the service and delivery of shoes to be excellent with an added personal service even on line. Return was very easy & straightforward as unfortunately the shoes I purchased did not fit. I would definitely recommend this company

A complete mistake from beginning to end. Given false information. If I had not ‘ chased’ this I would be sitting waiting… well forever. The really annoying thing is this could have been sorted a week ago but as ‘ my order’ was in told I couldn’t do anything. Then it seems my order was lost/ ignored. So very disappointed in what is generally a good service. I’m very sorry to write this but really worse than useless.

Hello Dylan Thank you for taking the time to leave a company review regarding this issue. I was unable to see any previous correspondence to let us know of the issue. We inspected the size of the shoes on their return and can confirm they were the UK size 6 as ordered via our website. Crocs have their own size conversion and include the US sizes on the soles of the shoes. All of the Crocs products on our website state that the size on the sole of Crocs is the US size, but our shoes are sold in UK sizes. I'm sorry that the shoes were not as expected on this occasion. ORDER NO 413650 22.5.24 - CUSTOMER REF 32497/BS/413650-258859. I am very pleased with my Clarks shoes, Nalle Lace (685374D - Code 261685374D045) Pewter (Bronze Metallic) £89.99, but not at all happy with the cost. Clarks in Colchester charge £80.00 for the identical shoe (in Rose Gold), plus with a recent discount of 20% the price was reduced to £64.00. I do appreciate that the Pewter is actually now end of line, but usually that would mean a lower price, not a higher price by the amount of nearly £10.00. I did phone your office to complain; I wasn't even offered a 10% reduction (to bring the cost down to £80.00 as per the Rose Gold price), which I would've gladly accepted. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of goodwill; I am a somewhat dissatisfied customer who will not now use your company, it's a shame, I was really impressed with the prompt delivery and availability of this particular shoe and would like to have done more business with you. So, regrettably, my review is NOT a good one. Gay Williams :(

We do offer a Price Match Promise, where we will match the price of the exact style, colour and size required if found cheaper elsewhere. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a price match to a style we don't carry or isn't in stock on the cheaper competitors' website. I have checked this style on the Clarks website and the Pewter colour purchased from us is not available to price match. The shoes arrived in a battered and sellotaped box. The crepe paper was so scrumpled - I'd never seen anything like it before from any retailer. The shoes when I tried them on look as if someone with extremely wide feet had not only tried them on but stretched them. They gaped so badly. Not a positive experience and one that can never warrant me recommending the this retailer to anyone.

At this time, additional costs of importation including local VAT or related admin fees are payable (locally) by the customer. Ordered and paid for a size 5 Skechers 117092 BOBS SQUAD STARRY LOVE White multi Womens trainers. After a few days received an email to tell me that they where out of stock, had to wait around a week for money to go back into my bank account.
