Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sorry to hear that the shoes you ordered were unavailable. We strive to keep our online inventory updated, but occasional discrepancies can occur. Our policy is to process refunds within 5 working days. I have checked your order and see that it was placed at 11pm on the 12th of August, and we informed you of the stock discrepancy on the 13th of August. The refund was processed by us on the 15th of August. Thereafter, it is dependent on the bank's clearing process how long it takes for the refund to clear into the recipient's account. “Beggs are a great company selling a wide range of footwear. I like that I’m able to buy on line, as there is a greater selection than in my local store. But I have the choice to return an items to the store if they aren’t suitable. The website is clear and informative and their customer service is excellent. Online orders are posted promptly and often contain a hand written note which I think is a lovely personal touch. I recommend becoming a member of the loyalty scheme. All in all a great company that I like supporting. What better reason to buy more boots?! 😉”
