I have used the site on a few occasions, this time my order never arrived. Poor communication from them had to chase it up was told damaged in transit . Ordered on 03/04 . I had to chase it up my self still waiting for refund , won't bother again !

Hi Steven, I am sorry to hear you are disappointed with the delivery time, I have had a look into this, your order was placed on Friday evening on a standard delivery which is despatched in 3 to 5 working days, your order was despatched on Tuesday which is day 2 and delivered on Wednesday, day 3. Hi Joe, Thank you for your purchase, standard delivery is despatched within 5 working days, we are usually quicker than this however due to the time of year and the large volume of orders for processing, despatch was taking a little longer. Kind regards, Sue

I paid for quick delivery, it came 3 days late, apperently we were out? Got sent back, no option to send back. It was sent out again after chasing up. Not as good service as usual

Hi Mark, sorry to hear your disappointment with delivery, your order was on a standard delivery which is despatched in 5 working days, DPD were then unable to deliver it and returned the parcel back to Beerhunter as we have no option to change this once the courier has re-assigned the address. Placed an order before Christmas. Received and email a few days later saying that DPD were expecting the order and would be in touch when they have it for delivery. Have heard nothing since! It’s now Jan 6th and no reply to messages sent to Beer hunter and still no beer! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Disappointed much!

Ordered a gift on 10 december. Sent an email follow up when i hadnt heard and received a generic email that orders placed before 18 december would arrive in time for christmas. Received an email that the package was with dpd about 5 days before christmas. When i tracked it on around 20 december it showed it had been returned to sender. When i enquired i was informed the package had broken in transit, did i want a replacement sent out? Yes, i did, however they couldnt get it sorted in time. These things happen, but simple communication and an immeditate dispatch of a replacement package would have meant i got the gift in time. I have been notified i will get a refund so that is OK.

I bought 2 mixed cases one beer and one lager, really disappointed in the lager, literally 3 different ones that’s it. Hardly mixed cases like the beer one. Bought the same for gifts last year and had a nice selection

Tried to support a smaller company, wasn't worth it. Free delivery promotion code didn't work, then I received the wrong order. Got a refund.

Was disappointed I placed two orders of 8 beers that came with a glass but both orders were sent in one box I was hoping they would be sent in separate boxes as they are for two different people this now means I am having to buy two boxes so I can send them out separately

Not sure I would use or recommend. Whilst I avidly support small businesses, I do expect to get the service I paid for in return. Not the case here. I ordered a set of wines for next day delivery. It was to be delivered on the day of a friend's 40th birthday. Long story short, when I received no tracking updates I contacted the company only to be told that they were unable to deliver next day due to technical issues with their courier! So, I paid £7.95 for next day delivery which the couldn't do, and to add salt to the wound, I would not have known this had I not had the foresight to chase; I certainly received no warning from the company prior to my contacting them. I received an apology email but only after I sent an email did they agree to refund my postage costs. The gift was received, albeit a day after the birthday and delivery date required. When I company cannot be reliable, they will not get my custom again, particularly when there are similar companies offering similar products at keener prices.

Great selection of beers. However, customer service was very poor on 2 occasions. Once qhen the company advertised a discount. I ordered the beers but the discount wasn't showing. Customer service did say they would look into it but never got back and the discount expired On the second occasion the courier left the beers at the bottom of the stairs and not outside my front door. I have hip issues and lift heavy weights. I got in touch with customer services asking them to tell the courier they had made a lousy delivery. Beerhunter again never followed up. So I now shop elsewhere.

Glass ordered ok, but the glass itself was packed in a stupidly large box - could have fitted at least a dozen glasses in it. A conplete waste of packaging. And, as this is a gift, I now have to find a suitable box to wrap it in. Delivery was quick, though

Well I believe from my friend who received the beer pack as a gift that it was good. BUT I clearly made a MISTAKE when the website put me back, and ended up ordering 2 of the same gifts, to the same person, with the same birthday message!! Despite emailing the beerhunter company immediately explaining the double order, they didn't cancel it or just sent one, when their operation opened on the Monday. Therefore I was charged for two!! Buyer BEWARE!! My friend was pleased!

Hi Claire We have sent you private email, sorry to hear you are disappointed, please could you advise which email address the email was sent to as we cannot see anything at this end? Without seeing the email, this wouldn’t be picked up on as the system is automated and goes straight through to the warehouse for picking. It isn’t unusual for us to receive an order with two gifts on for the same person. Also the gift card messages were different on each one. We have sent return instructions should these be required. Two cases of beers arrived with a couple of smashed bottles. Asked Beerhunter for a resolution and they never came back to me. Won’t use again.

Delivery was poor. I was informed my order left your warehouse on the Friday. Courier only got the parcel on the following Tuesday.

Took ages to be delivered with no communication about the delay until I chased. Then a whole bunch of emails saying the same thing. Packaging was excellent when it did arrive. It's not a problem being late guys, just inform your customers up front!

Hi Paul - thank you for your purchase. I can see your order was placed on Easter Monday when the office was closed. The shipping opted for was standard delivery which is 3-5 working days, your tracking confirmation was emailed to you the day your order was dispatched and the item was delivered the next day.

Thank you for allowing me to write a review. I am disappointed, to be honest, Having made the order request on Thursday 14th April and then only receive the order Monday 25th April seems a long time to wait. I appreciate I was advised the order would not be processed until Tuesday 19th due to the Easter weekend but to then wait almost a further week I find this disappointing. DPD sent an email to say they will deliver Thursday the 21st when the case was not dispatched to them I find it strange, but that is an issue with DPD not Beer Hunter. Not sampled the beer as yet but the length of time it took to receive as mentioned was frustrating.
