Good price. Well packaged. Unfortunately advertises on website that ships on the same day if ordered before 2pm. It didn't happen. Maybe this is not important for some people but based on the fact that they lied about this cannot really trust anything else.

Unfortunately I will not be ordering anything again from this company. I order a birthday gift pack for my son in laws birthday, which was sent very quickly but unfortunately the beer sent had a very short life span. I emailed and showed my disappointment as BBF dates where a few days after his birthday. I was asked whether I wanted a replacement or total refund. I went for replacement as long as BBF dates were better (December) and asked if this couldn't be done then I would have a full refund. Second parcel arrived today but disappointely dates were the same on 3 beers and 1 BBF date this Friday. Not very impressed so have now asked for a full refund which I waiting to hear about. Such a shame as orders were dispatched very quickly.

Waited 5 days for delivery (Royal Mail) slow service ! I got someone else order so not very happy. Rang and left a message on Friday but they leave the office early (2:30pm) so rang Monday and discussed. Offered replacements but I took a refund instead. Not a great experience. Went to Sainsbury’s to get my beers in the end !

Half of the order arrived but 4 of the beers had been substituted, filled the online form on Thursday and had no reply then emailed on Friday and received an automatic reply but it’s now Tuesday evening and still no reply. The other half of the order was damaged in transit (not beer hunters fault) but I know they received it back on Friday morning but I have not Been contacted as to when it will be sent out. So I have a box of beer I can’t touch because it might all have to be sent back and another box which I have no idea if or when I will receive it.

Good selection of beers but I am feeling pretty disappointed really. I ordered a "6 pack" of Beavertown Gamma Ray as a gift for a mate's birthday. Given the expensive price for only 6 beers, I was expecting it to be an actual 6 pack, in a cardboard sleeve or box, or however you would normally expect to see a 6 pack packaged up in a shop. I paid 25 quid including postage to receive a giant shipping box with 6 loose cans just chucked in the bottom, with a bit of extra packing card to hold them in place. This is not a '6 pack', this is clearly just a 12/24 pack that has been bought in bulk and split down into smaller '6 pack' prices, just creaming the extra profit on top. . I could have bought a 4 pack in Sainsbury's for 8 quid, which would have been packaged up in a presentable cardboard sleeve and looked good as a gift. I could have actually bought 3 of these for the price I paid for 6 cans, and to look like I had probably bought a bigger pack and kept the rest for myself. Not cool. I wanted to support a smaller business but will probably just shop in a major supermarket next time and get 3 times the value of what I paid to Beer Hunter. Please be more clear on your website about what people are actually getting.

Good Morning, we do apologies that you were unhappy with the item you have received we have made note of this and will be informing the warehouse team as your item should not have been packaged in such a large box as this is unacceptable. The item never states to come in any form of gift packaging and we are sorry once again you received such a large box we will also be getting our team to internally review the website.

I bought two gift boxes on the 17th of July but I only received one of them and haven’t heard nothing about the other box. I wasn’t aware it was going to be send in two different parcel either.

I was really happy with the beer selection and prompt delivery less happy about the fact that I paid for a gift card for a 50th birthday event that the parcel was delivered minus gift card but with a copy of the invoice!

Overall, not such a great experience. Bought a Christmas pack that was meant to have four beers and a glass included. Received a very wet plain brown box with only three beers and a glass which all looked like they had been thrown in.

Was promised a Hoffbrau stein on the advertising, received a half pint Erdinger glass. Also tried many avenues to try and establish when the order would arrive, email, Twitter etc. Do this day still had no response from anyone. Also many of the beers have nothing to do with Oktoberfest.

So, ok, I finally got what I'd ordered as seen on the website. However, I didn't receive an acknowledgement of the order at all, so no order number, just my Paypal receipt as proof of purchase. Then I get an email asking if I'd like to review the service!! On phoning Beer Hunter I was told Customer Services would ring me back asap, 3 hours later they did, and I have to say were helpful. Apparently the warehouse were awaiting delivery - would have been great to have been told. So, all's well that ends but better communication upfront would alleviated a lot of stress!

Product range is good, but service very poor. Ordered on a Wednesday and paid for next day delivery. Item was not delivered until Saturday. Emailed requesting both information and a refund of the delivery charges, however have still not heard from them.

Ordered advent beer calendar showing next day delivery. Arranged to be at home address to await delivery. Delivery didn’t arrive so phoned beerhunter. Beerhunter said advent beer calendar hadn’t been dispatched yet and so could be delivered to my work address. 4 days later item was sent to home address. Not very helpful. Product seems good.

Ordered gluten free advent calendar, rec confirmation of order saying I will be sent a tracking code to track delivery as it was supposed to be next day delivery.....this was never rec. I sent 2 emails, no response. I called on Tuesday, having ordered previous Friday and was told del Thursday which I said was no good so we arranged Sat delivery before 9am as I knew I would be there.....it turned up on Friday, left with a neighbour. My husband picked the parcel up and read the label which said where is was from......surprise spoilt! I was also told because of the problems I had, something else would be added to delivery.....there was nothing.

Lack of communication when items were missing ( also due to Parcelfarce ). The items eventually arrived a week later but would not use again as the company seems to be indifferent to their shortcomings.

I ordered a gift for my nephew's graduation well in advance of the day; standard delivery is quoted as 5 working days and the gift should have arrived for his graduation. It didn't and when I called it was still in the warehouse. As such the gift arrived 2 days past the event, which clearly spoilt the surprise. They did give me back the delivery charge and the gift was cheaper than other providers - but this does not compensate for the loss of impact.

This is a strange company. I feel their prices are very competitive against other internet beer companies, but it is their communication that lets them down... and I mean big time! Their customer service department must be non-existent. In my last order with them they messed it up and missed off 10 bottles. I informed them of this via email, and then followed up my email each day for the last 4 days.... I have still to receive any reply. Personally I find this staggering that they cant be bothered to try and sort out their own mistakes. I have also left voicemails but still no reply. Sadly on a previous order I also had problems with bad communication, but that time I decided to give them another try. I see that over 16% of people's reviews give 2 or less stars... I can see why. I wont be using again.

I ordered the Leffe Gift Pack on Friday and paid for next day delivery. It didn't arrive until Wednesday! My e.mails weren't answered. Lovely glass and beers, though.

Disappointed, as order was never dispatched. Had to chase for an update and was promised the order would be dispatched straight away but this was incorrect. Company then blamed a glitch in the system. Didn’t ring back when they said they would and took a long time to respond by email to resolve the refund.
