However, another query I’m still not convinced about: once I screw the portable gas canister in and use it but it’s not empty can I unscrew it again to disconnect it in transit?

This BBQ, the Q2200 in black with a stand is a great pice of kit. It has a large cooking area and is easy to manage. It's quick to remove from the stand and light enough to be able to be carried and stored in my shed. I also use the smaller one for our caravan. The Baby Q1000 is the same design, just a bit smaller and lighter for the caravan. These BBQs have few working parts and this means there's less to go wrong.”
