“Having followed the instructions and watching Tintenter’s videos I got to the final part of installing the drip tray; it wouldn’t fit. How could I have not assembled it correctly? No matter, the pork steaks with which I was going to christen the BBQ would have to wait another day. This morning I partially disassembled the unit and removed the drip tray runners thinking I had installed them incorrectly but no, L and R matched correctly. After considerable frustration I concluded the runners were incorrectly labelled. I phoned Cadac but the lady with whom I spoke was not aware of this problem; surely I can not be the only one? Everything now works apart from the fact that the wire tray stops the rotisserie turning which seems an elementary design fault. I bought the BBQ following success with the Safari Chef 2 in our motor home and although it seems a good unit I’m disappointed by the above which would prevent my giving it 5 stars.”
