Took ten days from receipt of my order to receiving it. No issues with the order only the shipping time. Very poor.

Parcel went astray, Took over a week to sort things out. Company has offered compensation to cover our costs

Ordered batteries and the wrong ones came. Called and spoke to very helpful girl would told me to return batteries and in the meantime she would have the correct batteries sent out the same day. If there were any further questions someone would call me. 3 days later no replacement batteries had arrived. I called to be told that no batteries were being sent out and that I had to place an order from scratch again. Bought them elsewhere instead. Not ideal.

Dear Mr McConchie, May I start by saying that we generally do everything we can to resolve our customers problems with orders. We generally do not mitigate negative reviews in any way other than apologising. However, in this case, due to the inaccuracy and unfair nature of your review, I feel I must defend it. You ordered a number of products including a Duracell CR2 battery. You then contacted us to say that you had ordered the wrong battery. We did NOT send you the wrong batteries, and in your review, you simply wrote 'the wrong batteries arrived' - this was your mistake ordering, NOT our fulfilment issue. We have no record of your first incoming call on our call logs, and I have checked this. We have no open tickets, which are created automatically by calls, emails and form submissions. If a customer contacts us by any method (apart from postal mail), a ticket is created. When you contacted our customer service, our staff informed you that you could return the battery for a refund, or that we could send you out the correct battery on receipt of the old one, with an appropriate adjustment either way in price. As you explained to the representative that you needed the battery urgently, she suggested that you placed another order for it, allowing time for the incorrectly ordered battery to be returned, and removing any potential delay. The initially incorrectly ordered battery would be received in due course, and the refund pro rated. You were however annoyed about this, and accepted a refund. In summary, we do everything we can to resolve a problem for a customer. We work in excess of our requirements under the sales of goods act. Even when a customer orders an incorrect item, we often even incur the cost of shipping the replacement item out, from good will. What we cannot do, is simply send you out a replacement product which may cost more, or less, than the original product price, without even receiving the original unwanted product back. The vast majority of internet stores dispatch an item, and receive returns and refunds. They will not even deal with replacements and keep transactions separate. Your review is grossly unfair and the situation was created by your mistake when ordering what turned out to be the wrong battery. When we tried to help, and explained the quickest way to resolve it, and that in all cases, you'd be given a refund, you were unhappy; and blamed us for your mistake, in this review. Dear Mr NcNeill, We're sorry to hear that you found the delivery time of 3 days to be unacceptable. We offer our fixed priced shipping of £2.99 which allows us to ship larger items (such as your battery and bulky packaging) while keeping the shipping price to you as low as possible. The item is too large and heavy to go in a large letter. We do advertise the shipping costs and times on our delivery page, as well as the costs, in the shopping cart. It would not be possible to meet your expectations of shipping faster than this time without charging you significantly more. We do offer a guaranteed next day service for £5.99 for time sensitive items for which we use a courier. Delivery was slow. And one of the batteries is out of date within only 5 months. I can't recommend this company.

My order was processed and despatched in quick time. However, upon receipt of my order the outer packaging was broken (Jiffy bag) and the boxes of batteries inside were broken. A couple of the batteries in one box had obviously fallen out and were lost. Not worth complaining to customer service over a couple of batteries.

I paid for next day delivery but did not receive the batteries so had to call up and complain.It took a follow up email to get a response, at which point you were very helpful and the batteries arrived the next day. I understand that it was a courier problem as I have used the company before and had no complaints.

Dear Barry, Many thanks for your order and we're sorry it didn't arrive as quickly as you would have liked. Your order was dispatched using Hermes Home Call which is a 2 - 5 day service, and is usually 2 days. Your order was dispatched on April 1st but because of public holidays on Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April for Easter, this caused a delay. Ordinarily we would have hoped your order would have been delivered around the 7th but in this case, the courier took the entire 5 day period. We offer our fixed price £2.99 shipping, as it is insured and tracked, allows us to send all our products include lithium batteries, and usual does arrive quite quickly. Many customers enjoy the balance between cost and service. We do provide guaranteed next day service for a surcharge when required. I hope that should you decide to use BatteryStation.co.uk again, there won't be any delays with deliveries and that every goes more smoothly. On Tuesday, 31st March 2015, I received my or order of four CR1225 batteries from Battery Station. The batteries had a" Best if used by date of 03-2016". I telephoned Battery Station to inform them of the short life of the batteries, as an earlier order for the same type of batteries in September 2013, had a "Best if used by date of 03-2017. I spoke to Amber, of Customer Services who said she would call me back shortly, after contacting the warehouse. As Amber did not call me back as promised, I sent an email to Customer Services that evening from which I received an automatic reply saying Battery Station would contact me within 24 hours. On Friday, 3 April 2015, I sent another email to Batter Station to say they had not replied within the 24 hours as they said they would. To date, 7 April 2015, I have not received any communication from Battery Station. If Battery Station wish to maintain the confidence of their customers, no matter the size of their order, they should have the courtesy to reply to the customer when they have an issue. Dear Mr Davie, Firstly, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused over this matter. I have reviewed all the correspondence from you and I have spoken to Amber regarding what happened. Amber admitted that she did not call you back within the timescale you expected. Although this is not acceptable, she was waiting for someone at the warehouse to check the line to ensure that stock was being rotated. This took longer than expected. I'm sorry we did not contact you again after this, or indeed in reply to your additional emails. Customer Service procedures are being reviewed as a result of this issue, to prevent it from happening again and ensure that customer service staff are prompted by our system continually, if they have not replied within given timescales. We confirmed that the stock was being rotated and we believe the older batteries must have come in from a supplier, which happens from time to time. With regard to the use-by dates of the batteries, we wouldn't be prepared to accept that a use-by date of 03/2016 was unacceptable for a small order of 4 button cells. Due to sufficient stock turnover, the shelf lives of our batteries usually exceed a few years from the purchase date at minimum. With some slower moving lines due to how specialist a battery is, the use-by dates can be sooner. These batteries really can be used up to the use-by date and don't go 'off'. So in the case of your order, there was 12 months before the batteries expired. For this reason, we did not send out replacements. Once again I apologise for the fragmented communication, but must, in this case, maintain our position on the validity of the products we supplied. The initial order seemed fine and easy , however there was a an issue with the courier and I had to keep chasing the customer service dept for an update on where the order was.

Dear Mr Longstaff, We're very sorry there was a mix-up with the delivery of your order. For obvious reasons, I will not mention details about your address here. The courier who had your order had an issue finding your address as it didn't match any entry on their system. It took a day to diagnose the issue at the couriers. They came back to us for address clarification which we provided. Upon following up the matter, I can see the items have now been delivered. The charger I ordered was out of stock - but they didn't let me know! It therefore took 11 days to receive the goods but only after I complained. To be fair, they did upgrade the out of stock item at no extra cost but it shouldn't have been necessary for me to chase the order. Not impressed.
