Ordered small batteries on 1st February 2023. Todays date is 15th February and still waiting for them to be delivered. Not happy with the delay and wondering how long it will be before I receive my order. Hence at present not at all likely to recommend Battery Station.

Regular customer but on my last order which included 2 small button batteries that turned out to be flat and therefore unusable. Reported it to Battery Station but got no response.

My complaint is that the cr 2032 batteries provided had a 'Best 'before' date of 03/22. I would expect the product to have had a good valid date and not one that has an expired date. Service otherwise good

Dear Rodger, Thank you for getting in touch. Your order was placed on the 23rd of December, and processed at our warehouse ,due to the Christmas period and the extra bank holidays Evri did not collect your order until the 30th of December. Evri delivery service is 3-5 working days, the first working day would have been the 3rd of January. Dear John, We appreciate the frustration of having a late delivery at this time of year. We've seen shoddy service from pretty much all the couriers we use, and we believe for the most part this is down to the strikes by Royal Mail and Parcelforce staff. While this did not directly affect staff at Evri and other couriers, it has had a knock-on effect as other courier networks have been stretched over capacity by retailers diverting traffic. The staff here have worked some very long shifts trying to mitigate this by taking items to depots ourselves when vans did not collect, and dealing with unprecedented amounts of customer enquiries regarding order tracking. Prompt order processing but I paid for priority delivery (1 day) expecting you to choose another courier during the 2-day postal strike but disappointed that you didn't so the order arrived 5 days after you processed.

Dear Customer, It isn't as simple as us using another courier. We cannot change couriers at this time of year and other couriers are protecting their existing volumes from projections made months ago. Ordered my batteries on 25th November and received email on 26th November to say that my batteries had been dispatched. As of 15th December I have not received these batteries. I realise they might be held up Royal Mail industrial action but would be grateful if you could check for me and let me know. Thank you.

Never received my order. Not sure who's fault but courier apparently received then started there was a delay which never ended. Received money back promptly but they started how cheap they were for delivery for such an item, yet I have already managed to get new replacements with free p+p... For that I wouldn't use again.

Hi Elizabeth, Your order was delivered and signed by someone at your address on Monday 5th Dec, two days earlier than 'today'. The delays were due to strikes with Parcelforce which we have had absolutely no control over. I apologise for the delay and we're getting everything picked and packed on time, but we really have no control over the CWU union's actions. Usually very efficient company. Unfortunately Royal Mail are causing some issues at present. I paid extra for my delivery but still have not received it.

Very efficient. Batteries arrived sooner than promised. And well packaged, too, but they needed to be as Battery Station chooses to use Hermes (recently rebranded as Evri) as their courier, and Hermes came almost bottom in a world-wide assessment of couriers. In my case, my little parcel was thrown through my gate to land on my garden path where it would have got soaked had it rained. The door bell was not rung as this is not required of a Hermes delivery-person. So, in summary, Battery Station deserve five stars but I've docked them three for their very poor judgement in choosing the shamefully incompetent Hermes/Evri as their courier. Shame. If they change their courier, and I hope that they do, I'll change their star rating.

I ordered the batteries AND THEY WERE SO LONG ARRIVING I RAN OUT. I HAD TO ORDER EXPRESS DELIVERY ONE LOT MORE AND THEY CAME IN 1 DAY,BUT IT WAS EXPENSIVE. i AM NOT SURE i CAN TRUST YOU TO ORDER ANOTHER LOT.

Not pleased ordered 2 boxes of AA batteries but only one sent although packing slip said 2. Contacted Battery Station and they sent second box which arrived a few days later. Staff need to check their packing slip and send out correct order

Ordered and paid for batteries, did not arrive, after a week contacted Battery Station and was refunded my money. They were now out of stock. Ordered from another company and got delivery in 2 days.

I ordered 3.6V AA batteries as my last order. I was sent half size AA batteries. I do not think their web site made the size clear. The AA ones now say 3.7V on the web site. Returning them was not straight forward as the name which came up for the post code was not their name on the delivery slip. I had to pay to return them.

Dear Liz, We sent you the product you ordered which was Tadiran SL-750 1/2AA 3.6V Lithium Thionyl Chloride Battery | 1 Pack. On the product page, it does state 1/2AA in the product title and in the description below; as well as the specifications table. Furthermore, the product image depicts half AA sized batteries which are clearly much smaller than AA batteries. You were sent the correct product and you did not order AA batteries as your review claims. Both the AA and the 1/2AA are 3.6V as stated correctly on both product pages. There was no discrepancy in the voltage, again as your review falsely claims. If you enter our postcode in the Royal Mail postcode checker we do come up, around halfway down a long list, as it is a business park. Our postcode is M34 3QS and you can check that at any time you wish. I checked this on Royal Mail, Hermes and Interparcel, and we show up on all of them. So again, this claim is incorrect. The reason you had to pay to return them is simply that we did not make a packing mistake as you claimed, it was your mistake ordering the wrong product. We advised you of how to return the item, promptly on receipt of your email. I refute the nature of this review which is written to make it look like we have got it wrong here, where you simply ordered the wrong product and seek to put the blame on us. Many batteries are alike and are identified based on codes. We provide comprehensive information on our product pages but we rely on customers reading that information in order to determine which products to buy. In summary, we dispatched the item you ordered quickly, and it was delivered earlier than the timescale advertised. Our service on this occasion was perfect. it's bad that a private customer cannot talk to one of your employees. I had terrible trouble ordering my batteries on line as the system would constantly not complete the process. However after many attempts and great frustration i succeeded. The one good point was the excellent price of the batteries.

You are correct though in that we do not take orders over for the phone for non-business accounts. We simply would not be profitable in those orders and would need to increase our prices to cover the cost of taking phone orders.
