“Very competitve and prompt in fulfilling orderd apart from the use of Yodel who are very bad at delivering goods if you are not at home. A delivery I recently received from BS via Yodel was simply left on the doorstep. Fortunately a neighbour took it in.. Yodel claimed to have left it in a safe place " in the porch - I do not havr a porch !”

“I bought the 'extra' batteries for mum's hearing aids in the hope the would last longer than the nhs issue ones but sadly they lasted only three days which is the same time frame as the nhs issue ones.”

“Apart from the packs of batteries that had alreasy been opened and had to be returned due to the fact nk way of knowing whether someone has already used them in some way or other. The delivery time was aok and fhey was changed for new packets of batteries.”

Dear Alan, The shipping was £2.45. I would ask you to visit Royal Mail's website and check the cost for a tracked service for 250g on Royal Mail 24. I think you would find the shipping cost very reasonable. We do not send using Royal Mail 48 as it is not reliable at the moment. Dear Vincent, The claim in your review is complete rubbish. At the time of this reply, the cost of a pack of 2 x Duracell AAAA batteries is £4 on Argos. Let's compare. You ordered 2 packs from us at £1.75 each. The shipping was £1.95. So the total of your order delivered to you using Royal Mail 24 was £5.45. Had you bought these from Argos, the items on their own would be £8. Even if you collected them from store, they would be £2.75 more expensive. Argos Home delivery starts at £3.95 so if you had chosen to have them delivered, the overall price would be £11.95. Like for like, you saved £6.50 shopping from us, even if you had collected you would still have saved £2.75 I have no idea why you left this incorrect review. “This year I have been disappointed with the quality of the product I ordered not lasting as long as previous years had to double order batteries as I had gone through the ones ordered so quickly and I will be very hesitant to order the same batteries again I also recommended my friend to your business and she also was disappointed how short lived the batteries were and said she won't be ordering anymore it's been so annoying as I have never had to complain always been happy with my previous purchases many thanks.”

“The service from the company was good but unfortunately the batteries weren't. I bought two 50 pack of PANASONIC ZINC AA LR6 batteries which was £7.75 per pack. This sounds a good deal but in reality, the life of the batteries was not good. Two days in, the Xmas lights had been on and off for approx. 16 hours had dimmed and by day 4 were next to non-existent. Never had an issue before (hence why I plumped for Panasonic as brand name). Appreciate the less you pay the less power you get but I should have stuck with a non-branded make. However, the delivery and packaging was good so no complaints there.”

Hi Robin, The batteries you purchased were Zinc Carbon batteries and are not designed for high drain devices. Christmas lights with lots of LEDs use a surprisingly high amount of power. Zinc Carbon batteries do not have the same performance as alkaline, which I presume you've used in the past. This is why they are significantly cheaper. We put this information in red bold text on the description of the product to make customers aware. There is no issue with the Panasonic brand. “Bought a packet of CP189 batteries from you recently to fit a calculator. Although they were the right batteries, the calculator still didn't work. It is probably something to do with the calculator - but who knows? Not worth pursuing. Best wishes. Norman Childs”

“Ordered 2 batteries which arrived very quickly. I replaced one in a unit which was fine. The second I replaced in a second unit a week later but could not get it to work. After some discussion I received a replacement unit but I also received an invoice!”
