I contacted this company immediately I pressed ‘order’ to say that the wrong battery was on my order. No idea how it got there as I didn’t even look at those batteries. The company said they couldn’t change the order as it went straight to their dispatch. So the wrong batteries arrived .....

Dear Customer, After reading your review, I had a look at the session information from your website visit and I can see that you did add the items to the cart, that we sent you. The screen video of you on the site confirmed this. We couldn't change the order as it went straight to dispatch but we gave you information on returning the item to us. I'm sorry for any inconvenience you experienced from receiving an item other than the one you wanted, but in this case, it was not our fault and we sent you the item you added to cart, and ordered. My order of 1000 batteries arrived a day late and was so poorly packed , a number of the packs of 100 batteries had burst open

Batteries did not arrive. I chased them up and was informed they were lost in the post. When they did finally arrive the batteries were out of date 07/18! I claimed via Paypal and they refunded my money. Not a great experience and would not recommend or use again.

Dear Nicola, We're very sorry about the loss of your original order, and we've lodged a claim with our courier for that. The batteries we sent you were NOT out of date. On lithium batteries of this kind, the manufacturing date is printed on the packaging and etched into the battery. The batteries are good for at least 10 years. The use-by date is not on the packaging. The manufacturer was not even making this battery 10 years ago, so it's actually impossible for the use-by date to be 07/18 as they would have been produced in 2008. We didn't even sell the product then! I'm now investigating what this was not explained to you at the time, but I'm sure you've bought some from somewhere else, and since found this out for yourself. Expensive order of heavy batteries sent out in a thin, flimsy box, secured with regular clear tape. On arrival box was open & items missing. Order sheet missing so my details have leaked on route. Replaced missing items but not the point.

I have not received my order 100131607. I have emailed twice ticket 16007. I am ordering elsewhere if not delivered tomorrow and will ask for money back. I have also telephoned .

All batteries are satisfactory thank you. Hermes delivery managed to destroy totally the label on the jiffy bag and to leave the wrapper open and in tatters, suspicious, Our delivery lady was able to retrieve the invoice and make the delivery bless her, Hermes seems to be the problem here, so please do challenge them to ensure your parcels are treated properly, they (Hermes) do not seem to give monkeys.

Good prices but website crashed had to phone order also said free postage but there was a charge not obvious at the start

Dear Customer, Sorry that you had an issue while placing your order. There was an extreme amount of traffic that day and while we didn't notice any degradation in quality, this may well have been what happened. Regarding free shipping, we do not offer it at all, and I have double checked our advertising, and our website and there is no mention on it. Having looked at our logs, it seems you visited us through a link on a 3rd party coupon site. These coupons sites are not authorized by BatteryStation.co.uk but yet continue to issue fake coupon codes, and advertise free shipping amongst other false claims. Despite asking them to remove our website from their listings, they simply ignore us. We can't do anything as they are based outside the EU. One item in my order wasn't delivered and it wasn't until I phoned up to find out why that I was told that it was out of stock and wouldn't be back in stock. I wasn't offered an alternative to be shipped in its place, nor was I offered free shipping so I could place another order for an alternative product. I asked for this but was told it wasn't possible. The lady I spoke to was very apologetic but not very helpful in this instance.

It's not normally possible to order an out of stock item due to minimum thresholds we have, but this time of year, another website customer must have had the items in their cart at the same time and ordered just before you. Battery received did not work I had to replace it in camera with old one which though on way out still worked, for a short time.

Dear Customer, I have reviewed the product page for the item you purchased and in particular, the photo, and specification. Everything on this page is perfect and the image is very clearly a true likeness of the battery itself. The description, codes and specifications are correct. Saft batteries are quite specialist in nature and can look similar so it's important to carefully read that the it is the correct code for what you need, and compare it to the required battery in the device. Looking at an image alone, is not sufficient to make such a comparison or select a product. On this occasion had to chase after a week why by order was not delivered. There appeared to be something wrong with the address ???? Address was fine ?? Regards Peter

Dear Peter, We're very sorry for the inconvenience caused. This was due to your address not containing a building number, and an error with one of our couriers. Basically, addresses with a business or building name, and no building number, were not being correctly added to their address labels. This is a known glitch in that specific courier's systems. We have since adopted a new procedure where we attach a second address label to the order, containing this missing information. This allows the last-mile delivery driver to easily see the full address. Although this does not change what happened, I hope it explains why it happened, and reassures you that in future, this will not be the case. It said on the product description that the battery charger is designed for C battery cells, among others. However, it is difficult or impossible to charge them. The product is certainly not DESIGNED to take C batteries.

Your delivery company are a shambles...items were supposed to be delivered on Thursday as I neede them urgently for a photography job on Friday morning...The 1st attempt to deliver them was on Friday but I was already away on business by then and had to buy batteries else where, they made no attempt to re-deliver until the following Tuesday..

Dear Peter, We're very sorry about what has happened with your order. We have had a manager involved in this to try and find out exactly what has happened and prevent it from happening again. We've spoken to you a number of times on this issue. Sadly, it comes down to the fact that the postcode is considered non UK mainland even though it is in a major Scottish city. We don't agree with this policy but have no choice. We used Parcelforce on this occasion and the next day service actually becomes a 2 day service to these postcodes, as they are not covered by the universal obligation. The information on our website still said 'Next Day' for these excluded Scottish postcodes. It's since been changed to 'Two Working Days' After speaking to you, we agreed on this occasion to refund your shipping in full, and we've made the changes above to remove any confusion. Ordered AA batteries 14 August. Queried order 22nd August, as not yet received. Advised to contact again after a day. 25th August, still not arrived, but received email asking for a review of Battery Station service!

Dear Customer, Sorry for the issue with your order. We tracked this immediately with the courier who claimed to have delivered it to 'reception'. As you are a domestic customer who lives in a bungalow (as advised), clearly there is some sort of issue with the courier. We have taken this up with the courier and raised a claim. In the meantime, prior to your review, we had dispatched a replacement order which I hope is with you by now. Apologies for the mix-up. It's not possible to change an address after the order has been placed as there is no holding period.
