Internal packaging not good. The batteries were loose and the box was in two pieces. Looked like old stock.

Dear Mr Barrett, We're very sorry to hear that the packaging of your batteries was damaged in transit. I can however guarantee that the stock you received is very new. The coin cells you ordered were produced in early 2017 with a shelf life of 10 years, and the alkaline Industrial by Duracell batteries were produced in the last 4 months. We are happy to replace any damaged stock and we would ask you to get in touch with us to arrange a replacement if needs be. Yours sincerely, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

I received my batteries, when i informed you they were below the stated voltage you asked me to tell you the voltages which i did a week ago, i have heard nothing since, please respond or send replacements?

Dear Mr Shaw, After receiving your email with this issue, I suspected that the issue was due to normal voltage drops under load with this type of lithium thionyl chloride battery. I read up on the spec sheets for the Tadiran product you ordered just to be sure and it does state that under certain loads, that the voltage output will drop slightly due to internal resistance; and that there is also a slight voltage delay between removal of the load and the voltage returning to 3.6V. Both of these characteristics are completely normal for this type of battery. I sent you a very comprehensive PDF of the specs for this battery, and highlighted the areas which explain this, and also provide graphs to help easily calculate expected behaviour. We haven't heard back from you since then so we presume that this has rectified the situation. Should you have any further issues, please do not hesitate to contact us. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

Dear Customer, I'm very sorry the delivery time did not meet your expectations. We do our best to dispatch our orders, which sometimes are very heavy, by the cheapest method possible. Delivery times are normally very good. We do appreciate your business and hope that if you use us again in the future, the service meets your expectations. Ordered AA batteries and C batteries. Less than two hours later, realised that I needed D, not C batteries. Phoned "customer service" and asked them to change the order. Extremely dim girl said she had to ask the manager. He later emailed me to say that the order had already been processed and could not be changed but I could send them back (at my own expense) for a refund. What he actually meant was "I'm too bone idle to do anything about it". The batteries didn't actually arrive till a week later. Utterly rubbish attitude - will not bother buying from Battery Station again.

Dear Customer, I'm sorry we were unable to help you with the change of your order on this occasion. Our policy, like many e-commerce stores, is to fulfill or cancel an order. When it is possible to cancel an order, we do so in full and refund, to allow the customer to place a new order. Once we have packed an order and added a shipping label to it, it is transferred to the courier trailer, actually in our warehouse, within a few minutes. The courier collects trailers from our warehouse throughout the day. Once an order has been scanned on, it cannot be removed. The delivery time however is longer than it should have been. We need to use this method of delivery as orders like your own which are around 1kg and over weight too much to send cost effectively on next day delivery. Yours sincerely, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

The batteries I delivered were on time but the parcel was dangerously hot. It transpired that one of the batteries had a split casing. I reported this because I believe had I not opened the parcel when I did it would have ignited. You representative asked for photos. I took the trouble to take them and sent them. Since when, silence. I think this was a genuine fire hazard and would have expected you to take it seriously.

Received a VERY DAMAGED BOX. I would say that the packaging was not strong enough for the amount of batteries I ordered. I had one box where 4 batteries were missing, but as I also ordered a torch, I found it contained 4 batteries so not sure if batteries were included or if these are the 4 that were missing out of the box. There was no note stating this.

Dear Customer, I've just looked into your order of around 3 months ago to find out what happened. It appears that your order did not leave as planned due to a non-matching address on the payment. This should have been proactively dealt with, and wasn't. Non matching addresses are a strong fraud indicator for us and this automatically holds an order. However, it is normally looked at shortly after and for some reason your order slipped through the net. As a result of the inconvenience caused, we refunded your shipping and sent it out on a Next Day delivery. You confirmed that you have received your order. I would like to thank you for your business and hope we can be of service to you again in the future. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

Ordered urgent delivery of batteries for next day delivery and paid for this service. Not told that placing order at 16:11 on a Thursday prior to BH meant that order would not come until following Tuesday when wanted delivery before 12:00 next day. Had Engineer booked in for four hours work which could not be done. Disappointing - and costly!

Dear Customer, We do display the 4pm cut-off time for same day dispatch on our home page right in the middle at the top and on our product page to the right hand side with the shipping info. We have taken note of your comments and we will see if we can make this more prominent. 4pm is quite a late deadline for same day dispatch in our industry and due to the heavy and bulky nature of many of our orders, we're unable to guarantee dispatch later than that. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

Dear Mr Kelly, Please accept our sincere apologies for the issue that happened with your order. On this very rare occasion, our courier DPD lost your order in between collection from our warehouse and their sorting system. This is very unusual and we have subsequently launched an investigation with them. Upon hearing from you on the day it was supposed to arrive, we re-dispatched the order and it correctly arrived the day later. We also refunded your shipping. I'm sorry this did not arrive as planned, and I assure you this is a very unusual issue. Over 99.99% of Next Day deliveries arrive as planned. Yours sincerely, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

Dear Mr Butterfield, We make all our postage and delivery charges very clear on the product page, the delivery page, the cart, and during checkout. The delivery charge of £2.99 allows us to sell very low value products like the products you purchased. Without the delivery fee to cover our minimal costs, we would simply be unable to provide such small orders, the profit in which is insufficient to cover operating costs. We find that most of our customers, when requiring very small low value items generally purchase some other small useful batteries for example AA, to make the purchase more worthwhile. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

The evening i tried to order this battery i got as far as 'confirm and pay'. a red notice notice came up on your website stating my payment could not be accepted. thinking i had entered detail wrong I tried again. the same notice came up. With that I order ta battery from another website. to my amazement an email claimed my payment has been accepted which your website did not. explaining this to Batterystation the simply said return it AT MY EXPENSE. WHY should I? you did not offer a pre paid postage. it still remains in its envelope. i advised not to order from you lot anymore. you need to sort your website sight that gives false information and misleads customers about their payment!

Dear Mrs Manly, Please accept our apologies for this issue. You should not have been asked to return the item at your own expense due to this error with your PayPal payment. We are investigating why we get the occasional issue with PayPal payments and we were able to identify the error you saw. We're going to find out why it said there as an error yet in fact your payment was taken. To resolve this issue, we have now refunded your payment in full, and due to the low value of your order, we have offered the item to you free of charge, so you do not need to return it. You accepted this offer. Thank you for your understanding on this issue and we hope you would consider us again in the future for your requirements. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

I ordered batteries on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday, specifying a safe place if we were not in. I was then informed that the batteries would not be delivered until Thursday, despite having paid for the more rapid delivery. We were leaving on a trip on Thursday so leaving in the porch was not a viable proposition. I therefore asked for the batteries to be dropped off at a neighbours. In the end I don't whether the batteries were left in the porch or behind it but I had to ask a neighbour to go around to pick them up as all the texts suggested they were going to be left in the porch. Hence a poor rating

I ordered the batteries for next day delivery as we were going on holiday and it was obvious from my address that I lived in the UK I paid the extra postage for the fat delivery but they did not arrive anywhere near the time I expected In fact I don't know when they arrived as they came when I was on holiday I am not good on the computer so perhaps I missed something but surely when I entered my details I could at least have had an email back to say my delivery request was not possible

Dear Customer, I'm sorry to hear you didn't receive your order in time for your holiday. We advertise our next day delivery as Next Day (Mon to Fri). We do offer Saturday delivery as a premium option as we are charge significantly more by the couriers. We stop dispatching orders the same day at 4pm and orders placed after that time are dispatched the next working day. We state this on our website in numerous places. As you placed your order at 6.19pm on 18th May, your order was dispatched on Friday 19th May. The next working day (after the weekend) was Mon 22nd May. We delivered your order at 9.09am on Mon 22nd May, so this was the earliest possible time we could have delivered it. Once again I'm sorry it didn't arrive in time, but in this case, we fulfilled our obligations with a very early delivery on the next working day. Thank you for your business which is very much appreciated. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

Dear Mr Knight, We're sorry to hear about the late delivery of your order, and in turn a packing mistake. These issues are currently being investigated and in particularly, the packing mistake, I've kept an eye on this case, and I'm aware we've re-dispatched the missing items to you, using a guaranteed next day service. Thank you for you patience on this matter, and may I extend our thanks to you for using BatteryStation.co.uk. We really appreciate your business. Ordered batteries. No delivery, or so we thought. Rang company 6 times in one day chasing answers, everyone said they would chase the order with the delivery company. Basically they didn't, worse they didn't even bother to get back to me, finally spoke to a lady and explained that telling me they would chase something and then not bothering wasn't any good for me or them. She got back to me to tell me that company had delivered earlier in the week and left parcel on front porch, they did, they stuffed it in a Wellington Boot with no note through the door. They need a rocket for being lazy as do most of the staff who answered the phone to me. This could/Should have been sorted in one call.

Dear Customer, I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize for what happened with your order. I have spoken to your personally about this to try to discover in detail what happened and I believe this comes down to lack of communication on our part. After you contacted us to find out where your order was, you were given incorrect information about when you could expect a call back with an update. This was a source of frustration and the representative you spoke to should have been very clear about the amount of time required to contact the courier and find out what had happened. Furthermore, one of the representatives you spoke to has been removed from customer facing duties pending re-training, after you expressed irritation at the way he spoke to you. It was for these reasons that you needed to call back multiple times that day. We've taken all these issues into account and we're adjusting the way we give customers information so that we meet expectations in the future. In terms of the missing order, we were surprised but relieved that the courier had indeed placed the order inside a wellington boot outside your property. Clearly, a card should have been posted to make you aware of this, which is normal practice. I'm glad we were able to resolve the situation completely in the end and I re-iterate, we have taken internal action to address the points we discussed. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.
