Hi Duncan, The Phil Jones Briefcase amp is indeed a genuinely outstanding bass amp. I'm sorry to hear you had a problem with delivery via Parcelforce. Although I know it's no consolation, Parcelforce is the best we have found, having tried numerous different delivery companies. We generally get very few problems with them. I will look into your delivery and check what the problem was to see if there is any way we could avoid it happening in the future. All the best, David.

“Excellent service overall, but the website chat feature did not work on the day when I needed it. I did get a helpful email the next day, and the strings I wanted arrived within 48 hours as expected. Hopefully Very Good next time!”

Hi David, Thank you for your feedback. We publish the maximum diameter endpin it will fit on the product page as "Fits all endpins up to 10mm Ø" did your's not fit because of a different measurement? “The huge shoulderstrap could carry a horse and was quit an overkill to this rather small bag. Luckily I had a smaller strap from a larger bag that suited better. The handle on the short end of the bag is of little use as the other end of the bag will touch the floor/ground when using this. I would prefer a handle in the middle of the long side, so I could carry the bag horisontaly. I liked the massive padding though, good protection of the instrument.”

“Happy with my first purchase from Bass Bags - a very promptly delivered Hildersine double bass gig bag. This is a basic padded bag with shoulder straps, bow, accessory and music compartments and delivered free at a rock bottom price. It fits my rather large 3/4 bass. Endpin protrudes so you can use with a wheel if you want. I've only had it a short time so I can't comment on its durability.”

“The string was significantly cheaper than as advertised on other web-sites. It has been performing well even though it has been installed for only a few days. I'm impressed by its willingness to 'speak'. Other strings I've tried have required rather more effort from the bow. Pizzicato is fine but perhaps lacks 'punch' - only to be expected from an orchestral string I guess. The overall sound is softer and less penetrating than most of the other strings I've had experience with but blends nicely in the orchestral context. It seems to be bringing out the best from the lowest spectrum of my instrument. If this string is typical of the Evah Perazzi range I would be interested in obtaining a full set over time. This is my first purchase from 'Bass Bags'. The order was fulfilled as per their promise.”

“Great shoulder rest that is collapsible. Fits well into the violin case without having to carry it separately. It would have been nice if dimensions of the rest were stated online.”
