“This is not the best or most protective case for a clarinet but it is great for lightness and size. It's not ideal to keep the joints together all the time, as the corks start to compress. I would not use it as a rule but when muliple instruments are needed or lack of space are a problem, it is a lifesaver!”

“The bag and wheel arrived on time and in good condition but since they have arrived we've been locked down so have not had a chance to test them out!”

“I had the end pin replaced on my double bass. Excellent quality pin fitted very neatly and I collected the bass the next day. Not cheap but I'm sure other local dealers would charge at least the same.”

“Very knowledgeable about the double bass pick-up I purchased. I ordered it in time for rehearsals but it didn't arrive. On chasing it up it was explained that the order from the German supplier/manufacturer had not materialised and was being pursued. It would have been helpful if an "out of stock" note was on the website and if I had also been told about this when I rang to place the order so I could have immediately chosen another model rather than do it a week later and only receive the item on the day of the first performance. All sorted in the end though!”

“Item received in double quick time great cons Just a thought the cable could be half the length to do the job making it easier to use instead of the need to wrap/ loop excess cable around tail peice”

“My son is delighted with his new bass stand - he really likes the design and the fact that it is portable with a handy carry case. The only difficulty we had was attempting redelivery with Parcelforce but we got there in the end. Thank you very much again.”

Hi Duncan, The Phil Jones Briefcase amp is indeed a genuinely outstanding bass amp. I'm sorry to hear you had a problem with delivery via Parcelforce. Although I know it's no consolation, Parcelforce is the best we have found, having tried numerous different delivery companies. We generally get very few problems with them. I will look into your delivery and check what the problem was to see if there is any way we could avoid it happening in the future. All the best, David.
