“Happy with my first purchase from Bass Bags - a very promptly delivered Hildersine double bass gig bag. This is a basic padded bag with shoulder straps, bow, accessory and music compartments and delivered free at a rock bottom price. It fits my rather large 3/4 bass. Endpin protrudes so you can use with a wheel if you want. I've only had it a short time so I can't comment on its durability.”

“Absolutely astonishing bag which exceeded expectations! Arrived really quickly and, once unpacked, we couldn't believe how good it is. Lovely thick padding, really well thought out handles which look robust, good zips - two to make getting round spike easier. Pocket for bow includes a bow case! Pocket for music is plenty big enough - really annoying when this isn't as it causes a struggle every time and frankly a bass is big enough as it is without needing to lug around extra bags for music . Very pleased and heartily recommend.”

“My bon musica shoulder rest came within 2 days of ordering. I bought it after trying out a friend's shoulder rest, so was reasonably confident it would be suitable for me. It has taken a couple of days to manipulate the rest into a suitable shape and to find a good playing position. It holds the violin firmly in place, and if anything it's a bit too 'rock solid', as I find it less easy to tilt the instrument when playing on different strings.”

“The string was significantly cheaper than as advertised on other web-sites. It has been performing well even though it has been installed for only a few days. I'm impressed by its willingness to 'speak'. Other strings I've tried have required rather more effort from the bow. Pizzicato is fine but perhaps lacks 'punch' - only to be expected from an orchestral string I guess. The overall sound is softer and less penetrating than most of the other strings I've had experience with but blends nicely in the orchestral context. It seems to be bringing out the best from the lowest spectrum of my instrument. If this string is typical of the Evah Perazzi range I would be interested in obtaining a full set over time. This is my first purchase from 'Bass Bags'. The order was fulfilled as per their promise.”
